GlamGlow SuperCleanse Daily Clearing Cleanser Review

Happy Friday!!! Only a few more hours till my weekend officially starts! I am ready!

Today I have a review for you on GlamGlows Cleanser. I’ve tried the GlamGlow Thristy Mud Hydrating Treatment and I loved it. So I really wanted to try one of their new cleansers to see how they would work as well. The cost of the cleanser is $39. You can purchase it at sephora.com and glamglowmud.com

Here is a little bit of info on it (I did get this info from Sephora.com):

What it is:
A revolutionary Mud to Foam™ daily cleanser that changes color and transforms from mud into a gentle, effective foaming lather to dissolve oil, makeup, and impurities.

What it is formulated to do:
Based on the top-selling SUPERMUD Clearing Treatment, SUPERCLEANSE™ is the natural next step in the SUPER family for problematic skin. The revolutionary daily cleanser transforms from mud into a foaming lather to dissolve oil and makeup—rinsing away pore-clogging debris and impurities. It’s designed to reduce the appearance of skin imperfections and create a mattified, super clear complexion.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
– Parabens
– Sulfates
– Phthalates

Research results:
In a consumer use study on 100 individuals:
– 97% agree SUPERCLEANSE absorbs pore clogging oils
– 90% agree there is a visible improvement of the clarity in their skin

The ingredients are really awesome as well for your skin!

-TEAOXI® Technology (Eucalyptus Leaf Powder): Delivers natural eucalyptol, natural linalool oil, and powerful flavonoids to soothe and treat skin.
-K17 and Mediterranean Clays: Detoxify, refine skin texture, and balance problem-prone skin.
-Bamboo Charcoal: Provides balanced replenishment to the skin with essential bamboo minerals.
-Black Cumin Seed Extract: Provides antimicrobial and antioxidant properties to help provide a more clear complexion.

When I went to apply it, it was suggested that you use 1-2 pumps (when I only used 1-2 pumps it did not really cover my whole face-so the next time I used about 3-4 pumps) and apply to dry skin. I did find that once I put it on my face and then wet my hands as suggested, it did not really turn into a foam. It was more of a milky substance but it was not bad at all. It did apply very easily to my face and was easy to wash off as well.

I have used this cleanser twice so far this week and I really do like it. I feel that it made my skin extremely smooth after washing it off. I will definitely continue to use this to wash my face with a few times a week.Only downside to this so far was that it did not turn into a foam for me. If you have any of the cleansers and they foam for you, let me know! You have my recommendation on this! If you have used the other cleansers, let me know how you like them or if you have any recommendations on skin care! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

  1. This looks interesting! I’d definitely try it out, although I’d probably try a sample to make sure that it doesn’t foam for me either. My skin always feel dry when I use a foaming cleanser. The Origins Checks and Balances cleanser foamed when I used it. I know they include some fragrances in their skincare, so not everyone likes them, but if that doesn’t bother you then that face wash might be one to try out. I really liked it other than the foaming. 🙂

I really do like this cleanser. It did not foam for me but maybe I was doing it wrong. Lol. I’ve tried a foaming face wash from Aveda (I can’t remember what it was called) but I loved it! I haven’t tried any Origin face products yet, I will have to look into the Checks and Balances one.

  4. It changes from a muddy substance to a soft gentle cleanser? It looks purple 🙂

It does change from the muddy substance to the cleanser. Opposite from their masks. This one was really gentle and when I washed it off my face was so smooth. If you would have seen it on me in person it was more blue. Lol.
