Happy Wednesday Everyone!! We are almost through this short work week! Yah!!! I am ready for the weekend already but more for the crazy rain to stop here in TX. It has been raining pretty much every day here for three weeks. Can I just say I am SO tired of seeing rain. Anyone else feel the same? But on to better things!
Monday, I got to celebrate my 29th birthday. Now, I am not loving the whole 29 thing because I am one year to 30. Ugh. Everyone tells me oh it’s just a number and once you hit 30 life only gets better. Don’t get me wrong, I do NOT hate my life by any means but I have dreaded the whole being close to 30 since I turned 25. I know, I know…I’m crazy! I did have a great birthday week though and an even better birthday. I got to spend time with my friends, family and boyfriend, so what more could a girl ask for?

My boyfriend got me a Fresh Strawberry cake from one of my favorite bakeries in LA. This cake is so darn good!
My boyfriend and I went to eat sushi at my favorite sushi restaurant in Baton Rouge. I love me some snow crab salads. It’s a must when going to eat sushi.

I decided that I was going to bring in turning 29 by going extremely blonde (I haven’t been this blonde in a while). I am loving it though!
Of course, I had to do a little shopping for my birthday and these heels….I could not pass up! They were only $25, so I had to buy them.
So even though I love heels, I also needed some new running shoes. And the search for the best running shoes landed me on www.shoehero.com. In love with these!
Birthday gifts from my wonderful boyfriend.
My birthday was amazing and more than I expected. I am so blessed to have gotten to spend time with those closest to me. I’ll be doing another celebration with my girlfriends that I did not get to see next week, which I am very excited for! Maybe, 29 won’t be so bad after all.
