Friday Five

Happy Friday Loves!!! Who is ready for the weekend? I know I am! Here’s what I’m loving this Friday.

1. Urban Decays Smoky Palette. I am a fan of all the other Naked Palettes, so this was a must to add to my collection.

2. This Living Room (or so I assume). I love the I’m In The Pursuit of Happiness Sign and the color scheme. Gives me ideas for when I have my woman cave.

3. Out Fit Combination. I love this combination! Yellow is one of my favorite colors because it is so happy. I actually have some similar items in my closet. So I think I will recreate this look very soon.

4. The Husbands Secret. The more I read this book, the more I really like it.

5. The Blogging Community. I have met so many other wonderful bloggers in the last few weeks and they have been so amazing. It’s great to know that other bloggers are willing to help you when you have questions. Some people would think us bloggers are against each other or in competition…let me be the person to tell you THAT’S ALL WRONG. I can’t wait to continue to grow within the community and meet more bloggers.

Do you have anything you are loving right now?

  2. So true about blogging. I’m having fun just meeting amazing people all over the world!

I haven’t purchased the Smokey Palette yet but I haven’t really been wearing makeup lately! But I’m pretty sure I’m gonna get it one way or another just to add to my collection ?

    • I love the Smoky Palette. I need to do more looks with it but seeing that I work 7-5:30 M-F most weeks…I would prefer to sleep in then get all fancy. Lol. It’s a great addition to a collection though.

I love the Friday Five! That’s what I love 🙂

The living room is stunning. I’m really feeling the grey/yellow/blue-purple colour combo these days, over a classic white? gorgeous. The only thing missing from that photo is an antique blue (or yellow) large tea tray for magazines and keeping things in. stunning!

Also looks like I’ll be headed to Sephora for that Naked palette…

    • I love the living room! It’s so pretty and cozy looking. One day I am going to have a room that is completely girly with things like this. I think a yellow tray would be a great addition to the look! The naked palette is amazing. Hopefully you’ll love it as much as I do. Let me know how you like it once you get it. Thanks for stopping by!

  7. I read The Husbands’s secret a while back and loved it!! I heard they might be making it into a movie.

That living room is amazing! Now I feel like I need to give mine a makeover!

    Posted 7.24.15
    • I wonder how they would make that work in a movie setting. It would be interesting! I can’t wait to get a bigger house one day to be able to have a girl room with stuff like this from the living room. Thank you so much for stopping by!

  8. Great yellow jacket. I also read the book, and am looking forward to reading Big, Little, Lies by her too. I just found a “new” show on Hulu called Hindsight, which I’m loving. I also love your blog! Thanks for the post.

    • I absolutely love the yellow jacket. I have a yellow blazer and some pants that are close to the one in the picture. I was excited for a new outfit idea! I want to start posting more fashion idea on the blog soon but getting pictures of myself in those outfits…not so easy. It’s coming soon though. I like the book so far after I have gotten more into. Are you doing the book club as well? I heard Big, Little, Lies is really good! I’ve never heard of Hindsight, I will have to check it out though. I have so many shows I love watching. I’m so happy you love the blog Shann! I am trying to make it better very soon. I appreciate the love!

I wasn’t a fan of the Naked Smokey Palette, though I really wanted to love it! What I am loving is the Anastasia Beverly Hills eye shadows and Erobian tinted moisturizer, starting to really love Korean skincare.

    Posted 7.24.15
    • That sucks that the smoky palette did not work out for you. I have not tried any of the ABH single eye shadows yet but I heard they are amazing. I need to add some to my collection soon. Which ones do you recommend? I have not heard of Erobian tinted moisturizer before. I may have to try it out!

  15. Hi! I have the naked basics which I love and then I bought the naked 3 and I was not happy with it, so I gave it to my sister. How is the smoky palette? the colors look great! I also like the living room sign, very cute and chic.

    Posted 7.24.15
    • I have the naked 2 basic palette but not the first one. I also have the Naked 3 and it’s not my favorite but others seem to love it. My favorite is a mix up between the first naked palette and the Smoky so far. I’ve only gotten to play around with the smoky palette a little and the one shade I was disappointed in was thirteen. It didn’t stay on that well and I had primer on my eyes. I still love the palette though. Thank You for stopping by!
