Monday Coffee Talk + Giveaway

coffeetalk2

Happy Monday Y’all! I can’t believe the weekend has come and gone already. I enjoyed my weekend, it was very relaxing. How was everyone else’s weekend?

Here were my goals from last week:

1. Try to be more positive at work. I was a lot more positive at work this week and I think that was because it wasn’t as crazy, which I am very thankful for.

2. Continue to learn more about blogging, so that I can become better at it.  I have learned a lot more about blogging this week and this will continue to be a goal of mine for as long as I blog.

3. To connect more with fellow bloggers. I am so happy to continue to get to know some great bloggers and connect with them. Once again this will continue to be a goal of mine.

My goals for this week:

1. Finish reading The Husband’s Secret. I still have a good bit to read but I am hoping to get it finished by the end of the week.

2. Continue to clean out my closet to get rid of items I don’t wear & don’t need. Recently I’ve gotten rid of three bags of clothes to sell/giveaway. I’d say that’s pretty good so far.

3. Get more followers on Instagram.

What are your goals for this week?

Sounds like you did a great job on your goals for last week. Hope this week is just as successful! I read the Husband Secret, and now I’m going to read Big, Little Lies by the same author.

    • Thank You Shann!! I am almost done with the Husbands Secret and then will be reading Big, Little Lies after that. I must say The Husbands Secret threw a big curveball once you get to that one chapter that tells what happened. I could’t believe it! Thank you so much for taking time to stop by.

what do you do for work? I’m a teacher and go back next month so I’m trying to be positive about it! Any tips? I also need to sort through my clothes and clean out my closet. It’s a huge endeavor!

    • I am a recruiter, so I do HR stuff primarily. It can be extremely stressful at times. I know being a teacher can be stressful to. I give props to teachers because y’all have to have so much patience. I could never do it. My tips are to try to find something good through out your day and not focus so much on the negative, which is not easy to do sometimes but it’s a start for sure. I hate cleaning my closet out but in a way it’s kind of nice.

Loving this weekly goal link-up. It’s hard for me to come up with monthly goals. I think weekly goals really narrow it down. I still have quite away to go in Husband Secrets too.

    Posted 7.27.15 Reply
    • Jazmine I can not do monthly goals either. Weekly ones are much better for me. I’m on chapter 23 of The Husbands secret and it took me by shock. I still have a good bit to go as well but it’s gotten so much better since the beginning.
