July Favorites

As I’ve said, I still can not believe July is over. I had a lot of favorites in July, so I figured I’d feature some of them today on the blog.
Featured in the image above:

Loras Fringe Wedge Booties // When I saw these booties and I had to have them for the fall! They are so cute and of course I love the fringe on them. I got them from JustFab.com for $39.95 (if you’re not a VIP member they are $49).

Benefit Stay Don’t Stray Eye Shadow Primer // I have been loving this primer for a while now. It keeps my eye shadow from creasing all day long and it’s really easy to apply.

Colour Pop Lippie Stix & Lippie Pencil in Lumiere // I am obsessed with Colour Pop products and this lip color is amazing! It was created by Kathleen Lights, who is amazing. If you haven’t checked out her video’s on Youtube, I highly suggest you do! These both are only $5. You can’t beat that!

Benefit Hoola Bronzer // This bronzer is absolutely perfect if you want a natural looking tan. It’s matte which I love as well! I also use this as my go to contour color.

MAC Studio Fix Fluid // This foundation right here is one of my holy grail products! It is amazing because it keeps my normal to oily skin completely matte. It goes on very natural for medium to full coverage.

MAC Pro Long Wear Concealer // For those nights that I have not gotten enough sleep and have dark circles under my eyes or any tip of blemish, this products is my best friend. It lasts up to 15 hours and has a matte finish.

Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette // I have a love for all the Naked Palettes and this one is no different. You can create so many different looks with this palette. The great thing about it is that the colors range from warm bronzes, grays, browns and taupe’s.

Urban Decay De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray // This spray is a must to keep my makeup from smudging/sliding off my face. It helps keep the oil on my face away and gives me a matte finish.

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara // This mascara is still amazing to me (I did a review previously on it). I love that my eye lashes stay curled and that it opens my eyes. I don’t find that it clumps and I no longer need an eye lash curler.

Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation // Never did I think I would go back to using any drug store foundations but this one comes in second to my Studio Fix Fluid. I love that it applies easily, gives me a matte finish and it stays on my face! If you’re looking for a great drug store foundation, I would recommend this one.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara // This mascara is amazing! I switch back and forth between my roller lash and this one. It is Maybelline’s first patented fanning brush with 10 layers of bristles. It gives my lashes some serious volume.

Million Dollar Tan Mermaid Mousse Extreme // For a self tanner, this formula is the best I’ve tried so far. It goes on smoothly, does not leave you looking orange and your tan looks natural. I’ve been using this for over a month now and I love it!

Kenra Blow-Dry Foam // Seeing that I normally always blow dry my hair, this helps reduce the time it takes to dry my hair. It also helps smooth my fly away’s and gives my hair extra shine.

It’s A 10 Leave-in Product // This product I can not get enough of! It repairs dry damaged hair, adds shine, smooths & controls frizz, seals & protects hair color, detangles, prevents split ends, stops hair breakage, creates silkiness, enhances natural body, flat-iron & thermal protector. This is perfect for my hair because even though it’s not damaged, I highlight my hair often so it helps prevent any further damage I do to it plus a million other things.

Philosophy Miracle Worker Anti-Aging Moisturizer //  Since I have been using this moisturizer I have noticed a huge difference in my skin. It was smooth before but now it’s even smoother. It also has brightened my complexion and made my skin look healthier.

Philosophy Anti-Wrinkle Miracle Worker Overnight // Though I’ve been using this for a short period of time, I have noticed the reduction in my fine lines and wrinkles. I find that taking care of your skin in your 20’s is extremely important and this product is definitely helping!

Not Featured in Image Above:

Philosophy Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser // This has become one of my new favorite facial cleansers. It’s so gentle on my skin and it makes my skin feel so smooth after washing my makeup off.

Cannon PowerShot N2 // This camera has been a life saver when taking pictures for the blog, nights out, etc.

These are only SOME of my favorite products from July. I have a lot more but I’ll have those for another time. What were some of your favorites for July?

  1. What an awesome list of products!! I, too, am totally loving the deslick setting spray, the lash sensational mascara and of course the Colour Pop Lippie Stix!!! Those lippie stix are my all time favorite formula, they last so long and I love the colors. My favorites are Frida, Bound and Button! Seriously, so good. I just got more of their stuff in the mail yesterday and am going to be trying out a highlighter, matte liquid lipsticks and eyeshadow from them! Can’t wait!

Also, I’m not a huge fan of the roller lash! I like the they’re real a lot more! And I’ve been using the It’s a 10 leave in mist for blondes because it has a toner, so it helps my hair stay blonde and not brassy!

    • I only have two colour pop Lippies and I love them! I’m looking to get more soon. I have several of their eye shadows which I am in love with. I just ordered the Matte Liquid Lipsticks. I haven’t tried any of their highlighters yet. Let me know how you like them! The de-slick spray is seriously my best friend. I’ve never tried the They’re real mascara yet. I’ll have to add that to my list soon. I don’t know what I would do with out the It’s a 10 leave in mist.

  2. Those booties are very cute! The blow dry foam sounds like it would be really good too. I blow dry my hair and I have a ton of hair, so it takes forever.

    • I love the booties! I can’t wait to wear them. The blow dry foam is amazing. I have thin hair, so it doesn’t take as much time to blow dry mine. This just really helps with protecting my hair and of course reduces the time to blow dry it. I love it.!

Wow that’s a lot of favorites. I love pretty much everything Philosophy and will have to check out a few of the other products on here. My kids would say I need the Million Dollar self tanner mousse since I don’t let my legs see the light of day…lol.

    • Erlene I have come to love Philosophy products as well since I’ve started using them. Million Dollar Tan is amazing. Thank You so much for commenting.

Okay what an awesome list of beauty products to try. I am always wanting to try new things. I’ve never owned a Naked palette but I really want to! Also, those boots. Oh. Em. Gee. Can I have those please!? Great list 🙂

    • Lexi, I love all of my Naked Palettes that I own. It’s always fun trying new things and when it comes to beauty products, that’s my weakness. When I saw the boots I had to have them. Thank You so much for taking time to read my blog. 🙂

Every time I see your beautiful posts I want to run out to Ulta and pamper myself. And I think I need to do just that today on my lunch hour.

    Posted 8.5.15
    • That makes me happy that you think my posts are beautiful! I’ve been trying to make them better. Hopefully I can continue improving. Pampering yourself with a trip to Ulta is always fun (with the exception of your bank account). Did you get to go? If so what products did you get?

Not yet. I’m hoping to take your list with me this weekend and pamper myself right.

I would love to get a better camera to take pictures with for my blog. I’m thinking that I’m going to ask for one for my birthday/Christmas! Also, those boots are SUPER cute!

    Posted 8.5.15
    • Having a good camera does make the quality of pictures for your blog much better. I was typically just using my iphone, which is okay starting off but getting a better camera is always good. Hopefully you can get one soon. I am ready for fall to wear the boots. Thank You so much for taking time to comment.

  8. Those fringe boots!!!! So cute! One of my July favorites is my wide brim sun hat 🙂

  10. I have been using the Rollerball mascara as well and it’s incredible!! Benefit always kills it in the mascara department.

    Posted 8.5.15
    • I’ve been using it for awhile now and I really love it. Some people don’t like it but I think it’s great. I heard that the They’re Real (I think that is it) is another great benefit mascara to try. Another one of my favorites is Too Faced Better Than Sex. Thank You for commenting.

  11. So many good products here! I love my Hoola Bronzer and the It’s a 10 spray. The Kenra foam sounds interesting. Right now I’m using the Living Proof Style Extender and it’s awesome. I keep going back and forth on the Smoky palette. I have way too much makeup at the moment. =)

    • Miranda I love the Hoola bronzer as well. One of my favorites so far. The Kenra foam is really great. I’ve thought about trying living proof but haven’t yet. I’ll have to look into some of their products soon. I too have way too much makeup!
