Happy Tuesday!!! I hope everyone is having a great week so far. Can I just say how excited I am that it slightly feels like fall here in TX. I have been craving fall for quite some time now. But enough about fall! Today I wanted to share with you Why I Blog.
I have read blogs for years now and I loved the idea of having a blog. I have learned so many different things from reading other blogs: How To Style A Certain Outfit, What Products Are Worth Buying, etc. So I thought to myself why not share what I love with others?
I started this blog in March 2015. I had wanted to start a blog for a long time but never had the courage to do so. I was worried that people would think my blog sucks or I wasn’t good enough to be apart of the blogging community. After blogging for 7 months now, I’ve found that people actually like what I have to say. This has put my worry’s to rest. Now don’t get me wrong I’m sure there are some people that do not like my blog and that is perfectly fine with me. It happens.
I’ve found that since I started blogging it has been somewhat like a journal of my thoughts and experiences. It’s a greatΒ outlet to express myself. When I am going through a hard time or when something exciting happens in my life, I can share it on here. I also love that this blog is mine. It is my own space. I am able to decorate it like I want to (which I love because living with my boyfriend I don’t always get to decorate like I want to).
The blogging community. Need I say more? I have gotten to know so many amazing bloggers. The support in the blogging community is absolutely amazing. It has made blogging even more worth it. It’s also great to know that others have a passion for blogging just as much as you do.
I feel like my blog is the only time I get be completely me. I love that yoy feel like you can express yourself-keep it going girl!
I agree Melissa! Thank You! I hope to continue to express myself. π
I’ve been blogging for around 7 years now. It has been such a great outlet for me and I’ve met so many amazing people. Thanks for sharing!
Congrats on blogging for 7 years! That’s a long time! I hope that I can still be blogging come 7 years. π
I wrote something a little similar on my post today; not only do I love to write and share my passions, but I love the blogging community because they share their passions with me! I am constantly challenged and pushed to try new things and have new experiences because of other blogs! Keep working at it, girl!
I agree Chelsie that it’s awesome we can all share our passions with one another. Blogging has challenged me to learn more not just about blogging but other things in general. Very thankful for the blogging community.
Well said. Blogging community can be such a big support. It’s amazing how you form these connections when you start blogging and become part of a community.
Thank You Kam. I agree that the blogging community is a big support! I love being able to connect with other bloggers.
I began my blog this past January and honestly, the past 10 months have been some of the best of my life! I never realized how much I would love blogging – I’ve had a Tumblr for nearly 7 years now and I knew I wanted something more, just never realized how much! It’s a great community and meeting new bloggers like I’m meeting you now is my favorite part about it! Love your blog and so nice to meet you! : )

Adriana I am so happy that I finally decided to start blogging. Though it hasn’t always been easy, it has been well worth it. I’ve always enjoyed writing (I may not be the best at it but hey I try). Thank You so much for stopping by! I am so glad that I got to meet you as well. π
My reason to start blogging was on similar lines too π
P.S. That planner is so cute!

Thank You! I think all of us bloggers have great reasons as to why we all started a blog. It’s great that we all get to support each other and connect.
Blogs are definitely great to have a space of your own. Glad you’re enjoying it.
They are Alanna! Thank You! I am enjoying it so far. π
So glad you have the courage to blog now! It’s a life-changing experience and contributes so much to my growth as a person. Plus, it’s healthy to write!
Chelsea I am glad too that I got the courage! I’ve always enjoyed writing since I was younger, so this was perfect for me.
I love blogging as it serves as my creative outlet outside of work. I’ve been blogging for about a year now but have most recently been focusing more on it in the last few months. Every day I learn something new and now I’m ready to start helping others get started. It has allowed me to virtually meet a lot of wonderful people.
I’m glad you had the courage to start a blog! It really is a rewarding experience. It’s something that I do just love, for whatever reason π
I had no idea how many amazing people I would met before I started my blog a few months back. The blogging community is so wonderful! Congrats on making it to 7 months and good luck for many many more!
Alexandra I did not either but the community has been great. I am so happy I have got to know other bloggers. I’ve loved the journey so far and I hope to continue for a long time. π
I agree! The blogging community is amazing and so supportive. Plus, I love having a little space of my own too. I love reading posts like this…and your blog too. So happy to have “met” you! π
It is Shann! I love the blogging community. Having your “own” space is really nice. Thank You for the kind words. I am glad that we got to “meet” each other as well. π
As a brand new blogger I can relate to being nervous about starting. I wanted to start a blog for so long but had all the same doubts you had. Finally I decided to just jump in and figure it as I go. My blog is my own little space where-as you put it-I can decorate as I like. And even though I’ve barely dipped my little toe in I’ve already found the blogging community to be amazingly supportive. Glad you got started. Looking forward to more of your posts!
Starting a blog is very nerve wrecking Jill. I never realized how much work it would be. It’s been worth it though! Good luck with your blogging! π
I have definitely enjoyed the blogging community over the time I’ve been blogging.
I’m glad you enjoy it Kelsie!
That’s one of my favorite parts of blogging too, the community you create and feel apart of is so invaluable. Thanks for sharing! And I LOVE your blog design.
Being a stay at home, I feel like blogging for me is my “escape”, hobby and/or great way for me to communicate with other people throughout the day so I can stay sane lol Don’t get me wrong love being a mom but sometimes you need something for yourself and my blog is mine. π
Jasmine I wish I could be a stay at home sometimes (though I don’t have any kids). I think blogging keeps me sane at times, especially when I am having a rough day. I love that this blog is mine. π
I totally agree! Blogging is such a great outlet for all of our creativeness and personality.
