November Goals

novembergoals

Happy November y’all!! I almost typed October. I feel that October went by way too fast. Anyone else feel that way? October was a very busy month for me. Due to stress from work, all aspects of my life were affected-including the blog. You can read more about my life in October here. I’m hoping that November is a lot better.

Here is a recap of my October Goals:

Work with some bloggers on some collaborations- This is in the works currently. If you would like to do a collaboration with me, let me know!

Do more webinars- I signed up for Helene In Between’s “Quit Your Job To Blog” E course and I am so excited to be learning!

Grow my followers –I would love if you followed me! I have grown within all my social media accounts. I am so excited! Thank You to all of those who follow and support me. You don’t know how much it means to me.

Write my blog posts the day before each post is posted– I failed at this (I was able to do a few but not what I wanted).

Increase my page views- I was so excited that my blog hit 1,000 views in one day.

Do more beauty posts- I had a lot of great beauty posts that I wanted to do but did not get to them.

Continue my current work out routine (working out at least 3x’s a week)- I somewhat accomplished this.

De-clutter everything- I did clean out my closets some more. Which I find is a win!

Read at least two new books this month- Did not accomplish. I have not even touched a book in while.

Pay off some debt –I paid off $1,000 in debt in October. I would say that’s pretty good.

Spend more time with my grandparents– I failed at this last month. Due to being sick, work, etc I was not able to spend the time I wanted to with them.

Cook more meals- I cooked more meals this month. One of them being this.

Go to a pumpkin patch or some type of fall festival- I was supposed to go to a pumpkin patch but we had some bad weather (so that plan was ruined).

Decorate my house for the fall/the holidays- I haven’t done a whole lot of decorating for fall unfortunately. Though I have some great DIY ideas in the works. Check them out here.

November Goals:

Blog

-Learn more from Helene In Between’s “Quit Your Job To Blog” E Course. I can not tell you how excited I am about this! I would love to become a better blogger and do it full time.

-Maintain page views.I did very well last month with 11K page views. I was so excited to see this. I have worked hard on making this blog the best it can be (I want to continue to make it even better). I am so very thankful for all of you that read my blog and support me. I can not say THANK YOU enough!!!

-Write more beauty posts. I failed at this last month, so I really want to get at least 1 beauty post out there!

-Write more personal posts. I feel that when I first stared this blog it was a little more personal, so I really want to add that back into the blog.

Fitness

-Work out 3 X’s a weeks and stick to it. I really have let other things in my life get in the way of this and it has to stop.

-Lose 5 lbs

Home

-Organize things better. I really feel that lately our house is not quite as organized as it used to be. Thank You life for getting in the way.

Personal

-Read at least one book this month. Let’s see if I can actually stop and read a book this month.

-Continue to pay off debt. I did really well last month and I want to continue to pay off my debt.

-Stop spending money on things I truly don’t need. So this is tough for me but I am determined to get better at this. I have an addiction to makeup and clothes. I spend a lot of money on both of these, so I am going to be cutting back.

-Save money for Christmas presents (hence the stop spending things on items I don’t need).

-Become better at time management. I used to be so good at this but I have found over the last year, I am no longer good at it.

-Start taking vitamins. I have been extremely exhausted over the last few months (the stress from my job took a huge toll on me). I feel that vitamins will help me out somewhat.

-Grow my Mark Kay Business. I recently signed up to be a Mary Kay beauty consultant and I am so excited about it! I love makeup, so being able to help teach woman more about beauty, skin care, etc is perfect for me. If you would like to know more about Mary Kay please let me know!

What are your goals for November? Where you able to reach your October goals?

I share many of the same goals as you! I want to lose at least 5 pounds and workout consistently 3 times a week. It’s difficult being a working mom, but nobody said goals were easy, right? I want to continue to read before bed in the hopes of reading a book a month and am currently on a crazy home organizational spree. We are the same! ha.

  9. as I read your post the coach in me kicks in. ;-). Under fitness goals you have lose five pounds which is awesome but the goal is not actionable or time bound. Goal statements need to be specific, measurable, actionable and time bound (SMART) So instead “lose five pounds” it becomes “I will lose five pounds by reducing calorie intake to 1700 a day. I will achieve this goal by November 30Th and will take a photo of the digital weight read out on the first day and last day to measure it.” See? Goals have a much greater chance of being realized if you stick to this format. Sorry if TMI. XO
