December Goals

December Goals

It’s finally December! The most wonderful month of the year! I still can’t believe that Thanksgiving has already come and gone. I feel that since I’ve gotten older the holidays fly by. In a way I wish I was a little kid still so that I could truly enjoy the holidays. Not that I don’t enjoy it as an adult but I just remember always being excited for the anticipation of the holidays.

Here is a recap of my November Goals

Blog

-Learn more from Helene In Between’s “Quit Your Job To Blog” E Course. I have learned a lot so far from this e course! Check out my blog posts on what I learned. Here & Here

Maintain page views.

-Write more beauty posts. Once again I failed at this. I actually took pictures and did swatches for a review. I wanted to post but after seeing the pictures they were not what I wanted. So I will be redoing them and hopefully posting soon.

-Write more personal posts. I wrote these posts here and here

Fitness

-Work out 3 X’s a week.  I worked out some weeks and other weeks I did not. So I guess I half way accomplished this.

-Lose 5 lbs. I lost 3 lbs last month. So almost there.

Home

-Organize things better.  I organized a good bit of our house though I still want to organize more.

Personal

-Read at least one book this month. I read no books last month. I really never have time to read.

-Continue to pay off debt.   I paid off more debt which makes me happy.

-Stop spending money on things I truly don’t need.  I did fairly well this month. I have spent a lot less on myself and spent more money on others for Christmas.

-Save money for Christmas presents.  I have done a lot of Christmas shopping so far due to saving money. So yah!!

-Become better at time management.  I’ve become somewhat better at this but I always feel that I don’t have enough time to do the things I want to do.

-Start taking vitamins. Failed. I will be getting some soon.

-Grow my Mark Kay Business.  This is something I will always be working on. I have grown it a little and hope to continue to grow it.

So I did pretty good with accomplishing my goals last month. Now on to my goals for December.

December Goals:

Blog

-Grow My Instagram. I grew my instagram slightly last month and hope to get more followers this month.

-Write beauty posts. Seeing that I have failed at this lately, I really hope I accomplish this goal this month.

-Get to know more bloggers. I love meeting new bloggers and getting to know them. I feel that building relationships with other bloggers is so helpful and who doesn’t like meeting new people (even if it’s only virtually).

-Collaborate with other bloggers. I have really wanted to do some type of link up or maybe do a feature on other bloggers.

Fitness/Health

-Continue to work out

-Eat healthier (this is going to be a little tricky with the holidays but I am determined to not over indulge).

Personal

-Finish Christmas shopping in the next two weeks.

-Figure out what I want to bring with me on my trip to New York Christmas week.

-Continue to save money to pay off bills

Hopefully I can accomplish my goals for December! What are your goals for this month? What would you like to see more of on ST&H?

Awesome goals girl! And congrats on everything you accomplished in November. I completely understand that awesome feeling of paying off debt. I had 5 credit cards, a car loan, and student loan debt when I married my husband 2 years ago. As of last winter, all my credit cards and my car were paid off 🙂 it’s an amazing feeling! Now if only the student loans would go away haha
