Meet My Pets

Happy TuesdayΒ Y’all!! I hope everyone had an amazing weekend! Today is week 6 of the 52 Week Blog Challenge, which is all about my fur babies! I grew up having dogs, so of course I love them! My fur babies are my life and I could not imagine my world without them. They make bad days go away and good days even better. So now on to my little cuties!

boudin

Name: Boudin

Age: 5

Breed: Dachshund

I got Boudin when he was 4 months old. He showed up at my grandparents house and no one claimed him after two weeks. So he became mine! He has a few health issues to take care of when I found him but everything got all better with some TLC and medicine which may be found on online pharmacies, such as the Canadian Pharmacy. He entered my life at the most perfect time.

Boudin has quite the personality. He is so goofy and sweet all at the same time. He loves giving kisses (sometimes a little too much) and is one of the most lovable dogs you will ever meet. He is also completely hard headed and has a mind of his own (he gets that from me). To read more about Boudin visit here. On the other hand, for those people who unfortunately got involved in dog bite accidents, such as getting hurt by a dog in Monroe, aside from seeking immediate medical care, you should also contact a licensed professional to help you out in the legal side of the situation so you can get your compensation.

peanut

Name: Peanut

Age: 3 ish

Breed: Chi Weenie

This little cutie looks innocent but is so sassy it is unreal! Β If I ever had a dog that mirrored my personality, she would be it. I found peanut running on a very busy road by my house when it was cold and pouring down rain. Of course me being the person I am, I could not leave her out in those conditions. Which reminds me of the day I took in a yowling kitten, which couldn’t find its way out of a blind alley. I cleaned it and got all of its essentials from https://catworld.co/cat-genie-reviews/, but that’s a story for another time. So I was able to get her to run into a church parking lot and I opened my car door and she immediately jumped in. She stole our hearts immediately. Unfortunately she was extremely sick when I found her. We took her to the vet in hopes to get her better. She weighed 3lbs (her ideal weight is 8 lbs) and the vet’s did test on her, in which several of her organs were too high to even test. They let us know that we could either put her to sleep (talk about me freaking out and we only had her for 3 days) or try to flush her system out with fluids. We chose to do the IV to see if she would live. Well as you can see she was a fighter and is now 10 lbs and healthy as can be.

I hope you enjoyed getting to know more about my spoiled rotten fur babies. Do you have any pets? If so what are some silly things they do or like?

  1. Well done for having all of your weeks already planned out, that will really help you. Love you gorgeous dogs. I have a very cute Shih-tzu who thinks he’s a lot bigger than he is.

Wendy I agree that having the prompts thought out and planned is a great thing! My dogs are very spoiled but they deserve it. Mine also think that they are bigger than what they are.

Oh my goodness…you’re dogs are the cutest! I love those pictures of them too. We don’t have any pets right now because three boys is enough. I’m hoping that when they are older we’ll be able to get a dog.

Shannon, I was so happy that peanut lived. I was a hot mess when they said she may not live. I am such a huge animal lover, I hate seeing animals (esp dogs) suffering. So we did whatever we could for her. I love doxies as well. They are my spirit animal. Lol. πŸ™‚

  17. Your dogs are so cute! I loved reading about them. πŸ™‚ I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She lives for tummy rubs… and food. If you try to play with her, she’ll roll over for a tummy rub. If you look at her, she’ll roll over for a tummy rub. She’ll even keep eye contact with you, because if you’re looking into her big, beautiful eyes, how can you say no? You can’t. There are times when I avoid looking at her, so that I don’t have to give out tummy rubs. Basically only if I’m busy with something. πŸ™‚

Thank You Crystal! Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dogs are so adorable!! Peanut also lives for tummy rubs and she is also the same way when rolling over. Both of mine love food. Peanut is smaller than boudin but I swear she could out eat him any day.
