Valentine’s Day is just two days away. Some may think this holiday is just for couples but for me it’s all about spreading love to those important in your life.  Today I’m sharing some date idea’s that you can do with your significant other, girlfriends, family, etc. Because let’s face it Valentine’s Day day is not just for couples.

  • Have a game night
  • Have a romantic movie marathon
  • Take a cooking class/cook together
  • Go to a karaoke bar
  • See a comedy show
  • Visit a local winery or brewery
  • Take a painting class
  • Go on a hike
  • Go to an arcade
  • Volunteer at a local shelter

These are just a few idea’s that you can have fun doing. What are some of your favorite date’s to go on for Valentine’s Day?

I think a painting class would be so much fun! We may be hitting up the arcade for Valentine’s Day, and probably later on going to the beach…

Rachel I love taking painting classes (though I am far from a great painter). I love going to arcades (even when it’s not on Valentines Day). The beach sounds like a lot of fun!

  4. We usually have a really nice meal at home —-a movie marathon and just being together is a great night for us since my husband travels so much. This year we are making our trip to the beach our Valentine’s date!

Beth I love cooking at home and watching movies for Valentine’s Day. It’s a lot easier than having to deal with the craziness of going out to eat, etc. My boyfriend will not be home for Valentine’s Day, so I will be treating myself to something good. I hope you enjoy your trip to the beach! I am jealous!

  6. I wanted to take a painting class…but Hubby has NO DESIRE– he’s be thrilled with the arcade idea—actually we both would have a blast; WE are just BIG KIDS =) We usually do a game night with the kids, and then out to dinner later that week.
