What I Spend My Money On

What I Spend My Money On

This week for week 4 of the 52 Week Blog Challenge is all about money. I will admit there are certain things that I spend a lot of my money on. Some things are essentials for me to live and others….well my boyfriend would beg to differ. Here are my top five things that I spend money on!

  1. Sushi. My addiction to sushi is so bad. I literally could eat it everyday but then I would be broke. So I typically eat it once a week.
  2. MakeUp. The struggle is real y’all. As much makeup as I have, I can never pass up a new palette or collection.
  3. Clothes. Yes clothes are essential but it’s hard not to buy all the cute dresses I see.
  4. Shoes. I own probably about 50+ pair of shoes (heels, flats, running, etc). When I see a cute pair of heels, especially when they are on sale, it’s hard to resist.
  5. Books. I have so many books on my bookshelf that I have yet to read but I love books.

Now there are a lot more things that I spend my money on but these are the one’s that make my bank account a little lower. What do you spend your money on?

  1. In this season of pregnancy, the majority of my money is going to sweets and banana pudding. No joke!

I used to spend all my money on clothes and shoes for myself, now it’s things for the boys. When they were smaller, it was all cute clothes, but now that they are such a mess, I just get them toys and cheaper clothes that can handle being washed A LOT. 😉

Shann you def need to spoil yourself with some new clothes and shoes. I know you’ve worked really hard with your weight loss. I do understand though that the boys need clothes as well. I can just imagine how much laundry you have to do. 🙂

When you read “Why Not Me?” you’ll have to do a book review. I’ve been so tempted to pick it up, I’d love to hear what you think. Right now we spend money on very little because we are pushing through the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace Baby Steps. But soon, very soon, I can spend some money 🙂

Renee, I will be doing a book review on “Why Not Me” when I finish it. So be on the look out for it. I have been trying to cut back on my spending over the last few months and I have been doing fairly well. Good luck with your Dave Ramsey Financial steps!

I find it so funny that we have the same top 5 spending habits! There’s a sushi place right by my house that half my check should automatically go to lol. Shoes could possibly be switched out for with hair products lately.

Marissa I typically eat sushi once a week. If I could I would eat it more than once a week but sometimes funds don’t always allow that. It’s so good though! I haven’t bought too many pairs of shoes recently but for awhile I was on a boot buying kick. Now that it’s starting to warm up again, I’m sure it will be back to buying heels, etc. 🙂
