Love/Hate Relationships

lovehate

Happy Thursday Y’all!! Today is all about my love/hate relationships. I feel that it’s a daily struggle when it comes to these relationships and lets face it, we all have them. Here are mine:

Cleaning: I love having a clean house because things are more organized, etc. However; I hate having to clean it. I really wish my house would clean itself some days.

Food: I love eating. Living in Louisiana when you have amazing Cajun food as well as living in TX…the struggle is real y’all. I hate that it makes it hard to stay on a healthy diet.

-Working out: I love the way my body feels after I work out. I have more energy and I lose weight. I hate though that getting my motivation to go work out, is not there some days.

-Target: They have so many cute things in Target that I can’t resist buying more than what I intended to buy. I hate that I can almost spend my whole pay check in there.

-Make Up: It is no secret that I love makeup. I have since I can remember. Some would say I have a slight addiction (I would have to agree with them). I hate at times how expensive it can be and how I am always needing more.

What are some of your love hate relationships?

  1. This is great! I have a love/hate relationships with most of these as well – especially the food one! Love food but it is so hard to lose weight when you love food so much!

Amy I really do love eating. Unfortunately the older you get the more it takes to burn that food off. Lol.

I love this idea of doing the challenge. I definitely agree with the working out one. It can take so much motivation to get to the gym, but then once you’re there you feel better about working out. It just takes those few steps.

Leigh the challenge is a lot of fun! I’ve kept up with most of them. I love how I feel after I work out but getting there is always the hardest. It’s like trying to wake a kid up who doesn’t want to go to school. I’m trying though!

I’ve been talking about doing spring cleaning for a while now, but I just haven’t had the motivation to do it! Same goes for exercising. I’m really disappointed in myself because the end of last year, I was working out like crazy for 3 months straight even during Christmas! When January rolled around, Idk y but i just couldn’t get motivated to start doing it again.

Channing I did a little bit of Spring Cleaning but not a lot. I guess that is a start though. Better than nothing. I went and worked out again last night, so I was really happy about that. I’ve been trying to stay motivated when it comes to getting myself to the gym.

  4. Oh Target…definitely! Dishes are a big thing for me…I HATE doing dishes, but I do them all the time because I love knowing they are done!

  5. Yes to all of these! I feel like this post could have been written about me! 🙂 Target is such my weakness. Cleaning and working out are likely to be the death of me because I dread them so much but I love the end result so I begrudgingly do them.

Leslie I am glad that you have the same love/hate relationships as me. Lol. I love target and can never go in there for the things I intended to buy. I come out buying the whole store. I really hate cleaning but at the same time I hate when things start to get overly messy, my OCD kicks in then. Working out….I used to love it when I was a few years younger and I had more energy. Now I have to literally drag myself to go work out. Not good! I need to get fit again. 🙂

I agree Adaleta that having a love/hate relationship with the gym is an everyday struggle. I remind myself that in the long run, it will be worth it. I really have tried hard to get back into a routine at the gym.

  10. I think so many people don’t do things that they know are good for them because they don’t want to do the work. It’s that delayed gratification. You have to realize that the end result is worth the work! And that’s totally true. I love having a clean and organized house. I’m not a big fan of cleaning, but it’s worth it.

Christine I agree. I try to remember that whatever is I don’t want to do at the time, that once I get it done it will be worth it.

While reading all the love/hates, I am sitting here “YASSS”-ing with each one. Target though-ugh Target is SO brutal! I can’t ever just walk in and out.. It is like a one-two hour trip every time!

I am with you on pretty much all of them. I just got my Target bill, and I’m searching my house for things I can return 😉 My other biggest one is definitely food. I love chocolate, but I can’t eat very much or I lose all willpower and will gain about 10 lbs back. Boo!

Cara target seriously is the devil. I can never go in there and buy what I went in there for. I come out two hours later with bags full of items. I love makeup and I have so much. I tell myself that I don’t need it but I give in most of the time. It’s hard not to.

  17. LOVE this challenge! Such a great Idea! Way easier for someone like me to accomplish with my plateful then the daily challenge! Might even be a monthly one for me, lol! I feel exactly the same on everything youlisted, especially target and make-up!! Sephora takes some cash flow, lol and target get me everytime as well!

This challenge is a lot of fun! Daily challenges would be a bit much for me, so I really love this weekly one. Target always takes my money and any store that has make up, does as well.
