On Wednesdays We Confess Vol 3

Today is yet another Wednesday which means I will be confessing.

I confess that I have not blogged in over a week because 1. I got busy and then Good Friday/Easter came and 2. I have had a sinus infection.

I confess that I have been so extremely tired lately no matter how much sleep I get.

I confess that I really need to get back into the gym. Being sick has made me miss my work outs.

I confess that I am really looking forward to seeing some of my family from Germany this weekend. I have not seen them in almost 10 years.

I confess that I am so looking forward to my two-hour massage and watermelon scrub appointment that is coming soon.

I confess that I can not wait to finally be getting a beauty post done and posted. I am hoping to have it posted this week.

I confess that I have become obsessed with essential oils. It has been a saving grace for my sinus infection.

I confess that I really need some me time.

I confess that I really want the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette but it is sold out every where. Ugh.

I confess that I am looking forward to my vacation to Cancun, which is no where close to be here.

I hope all of you are having a great week so far! What are some of your confessions for this week?

  1. Firstly, this is a really good idea to have your own confessions – I might try it myself! I definitely agree with you that you need some ‘me time’, everybody does! Especially if you have been ill/busy. I love essential oils too, they really help to relax me! I hope you find you can get back into your fitness regime and enjoy your time with your family!

Amy it’s a lot of fun. I’ve done it for the last three weeks. I can not wait to have some “me” time. It’s been long over due. Essential oils have helped me so much these past few days with my sinus infection. Ugh. I hate getting them. I have a feeling after I am back to 100% I will be at the time. Have a great day!

Ha! This is such a great idea for a post: confessions. I also haven’t blogged really in a week- we were out of town and then Easter came and it’s been really busy. It’s good to have breaks sometimes. Feel better!

Kelsie I love doing my confessions. I’m sure it’s not overly exciting but I enjoy it. Lol. I think when the holidays come around things get so crazy, so everything else gets put off. I have needed a break with being sick. So I am hoping to get back into my daily routine. 🙂

Girl, I feel ya on that sinus infection. I’ve had a killer one, plus my kids have been sick, so I’ve totally been slack on blogging and working out. I’ll get back to it once my head doesn’t feel like it’s going to explode;)

I just can not seem to kick this sinus infection. I blame it on the weather that is constantly changing. It had made me absolutely miserable since the weekend. Hopefully both of us can get rid of it and be done! I have been slacking on blogging, etc because I just have not felt good. I’m slowly coming back to life. Hope you feel better Casey!

  12. I love confession posts, tomorrow I have mine planned. I’m so sorry that you have a sinus infection, they are never any fun. I hope you feel better soon. What essential oils are you using for your sinuses? I can’t live without my oils. I’ve never had a massage but have a gift card I need to use soon. I’m not sure what to expect though! Is that crazy?

  20. Mistle, I LOVE your honesty with your confessions, and have to say that I want to come back and read these each week!
I feel your pain on missing workouts, I really do. I haven’t been able to push myself much these last five months, and it will be a little while before I can return to pushing myself!
Are you feeling better? I truly hope you are, being sick is awful.

As for me, I confess that I’m starting to worry about if we will have enough stuff for our baby’s arrival in 14 short weeks. I’m sure we will, it just seems like yesterday we found out we were expecting and that we still had plenty of time to go!

Thank You Hollie! I have recently been doing the confessions for the last three weeks. I find that some people enjoy reading them. So I think I will continue to post them. 🙂 I did work out again yesterday which was a good thing. I think being sick just drained me and of course trying to get back on track is not easy after you have slacked off. I just have to keep in mind that I want to lose weight and look better. I am feeling somewhat better but the weather here is changing once again. So I get better and then feel horrible again. Congrats on your baby!!! I’m sure everything will work out just fine for the arrival. Don’t stress too much (I can’t really say that because I am not a mom but try not to).

  21. Missing the gym due to sickness always makes me feel guilty, but I try and remember it’s important to rest and let my body recover! Just make sure you jump back into the routine after you’re feeling better! I’d like a massage and a trip to Cancun right about now haha
