Currently April

currentlyaprilSo today is a simple post with a little bit of an update about what is going on with me.Hope everyone is having a great week so far!

Feeling: Tired and sore. I have been so busy with work that it has been exhausting. I would love to go back and crawl in bed for some more sleep.

Reading: Leave Your Mark by Aliza Licht. I have not been able to really sit down and get into this book but from the little bit that I have read, I am loving it.

Working on: My fitness and health. I have been trying to work out more so that I can have more energy and of course lose weight. I signed up for Barre classes two weeks ago and I can already tell the difference in my body.

Needing: More sleep. I have been getting about 7-8 hours of sleep but with work being so crazy lately, I have been out of it. This weekend I plan on doing nothing but relaxing.

Wanting:
For work to calm down a little bit. Lord knows I need a break. Of course I’d love more sleep and a massage right now as well.

Annoyed: With this crazy bi-polar weather that has been going on. Texas has been hit with some crazy storms lately.

Frustrated: That I am not still sleeping in my nice cozy bed. And that my boss is driving me slightly insane. I think it’s time for her to take a slight bit of a chill pill. It would make me a little less frustrated.

Loving: That I will be off next Friday. It’s still a little bit away but I am so happy about it.

What has been going on in your life lately? Anything exciting?

It’s definitely hard when life gets busy, even if it’s only your work life. It takes up a lot of energy!

Days off are fantastic!! I think I enjoy those more than holidays because everyone else should be working except you. I’m weird like that… Lol

Hope that you get your break in work soon. Perhaps use Friday for the massage? Ooo! Ideas!

  5. I’m with you! I’m hoping for a relaxing weekend. We’ve been on the hunt for land to build on and to be honest, it’s wearing me out. I’m needing a break from it. It’s supposed to be rainy here all weekend so i’m planning on snuggling on the couch in my sweats! Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday! Have a happy Weekend!

Leslie I hope that you find some land soon to build your house on. I know that can be extremely exhausting. The weather here over the weekend was pretty nice, it rained a little but nothing too crazy. I hope you enjoyed your weekend!

  14. I love Spring and Spring normally brings me peace but this year the horrible weather that has hit Texas is driving me up the wall. It caused so much damage to our house that now I am stressed with repairs. I’m with ya girl!

  17. I can relate on getting more sleep! Between storms in midwest, blogging, and life in general, it seems that’s an area that’s gotten the least attention here lately. Thanks for the simple reminder to slow down and smell the roses 🙂
