On Wednesdays We Confess Vol 6

humpdayconfessions

Happy Wednesday Y’all! How has everyone’s week been going so far? Mine has been a little crazy and the week is only half way over. Here are my confessions for today.

I confess that I had an amazing time celebrating my best friends 30th birthday this past weekend.

I confess that I danced like I did back in college while celebrating my friend’s birthday. I seriously didn’t know I could still move like that.

I confess that I finally got my hands on the Sweet Peach Palette. With that being said I bought four of the palettes.

I confess that the storm that took place here in Houston Sunday/Monday was crazy.

I confess that we went without electricity for 15 hours. It sucked but I am thankful that our house was not damaged during the storms.

I confess that I just signed up to take Barre classes. I am really excited!

I confess that I have so many things I need to take photos of for upcoming blog posts that I want to write but have not had time to do so.

I hope you enjoyed another week of my confessions! What are you confessing this week?

Thank You Chrissy! 15 hours without power was awful but I looked at it this way, I still have a home to go to and I am safe. I am very excited about the Barre classes.

Oooh! I want the sweet peach palette so bad! Too faced, urban decay & Tarte have my favorite palettes as far as eyeshadow! I’m glad that y’all survived that storm and that no one got hurt!

Channing the palette is really pretty. I am disappointed that it does not have as many peach shades. I think they could have had less brown shades in there but still a good palette. I also love Too Faced, Tarte and Urban Decay products. I recently did a Tarte Haul which my review will be coming soon. We have survived the storm so far but I think there is more rain coming.

Power outages are never fun, but I really like your outlook on at least your house didn’t get damaged. There’s always so much to be thankful for 🙂

Cara I tried to find something positive in the situation. A lot of others no longer have homes, people have lost their lives, etc…so there is a lot to be grateful for. 🙂

  7. Oh no! I’m so glad you’re okay after that storm! I’m definitely jealous that you got the peach palette but I can ask you-is it the best ever!?! Is it worth the $?

Thank You Leslie. So far so good from the storm, though there is more weather to come. I wish the Peach palette would have more peach shades in it and not as many browns but it is still a really nice palette. I will be doing a review on it sooner or later and also have a review on a dupe that I found. 🙂

  10. I need to look into Barre classes… although I do a lot of ballet toning DVDs at home and sometimes I wonder if they’re similar to a Barre class experience. And I’m so glad to hear you finally got the palette! Do you like it?

Crystal I went last night and let me tell you how good of a workout it was. I am a little sore but it is a good sore. It’s low impact but it works out everything. I loved it! I did leave the class shaking a little bit but shaking is a good thing. I’m sure your dvd’s are very similiar to Barre class work outs. I was very happy I got the palette. I almost gave up and was like you know what I have enough make up. But my boyfriend drug me out and was like no you wanted this palette, you need to try for it. Lol. I do like it, I wish there were more peach type shades in there.

Jenny I recommend taking a barre class. I went last night and it was such an amazing work out. I am a little sore today but it’s a good sore. You would not think with the low impact work out that it brings would do much but it does!
