June 2016 Goals

june2016goals

Every month I seem to say the same thing, is it really this month already? This year is just flying by! I feel there are so many things I still need to get done before this year is over with. Today, I am going to share a recap of my May goals and then my goals for this month. Let’s see how I did last month.

May Goals Revisited:

Personal:

-Get the hotel booked for my 30th birthday celebration// I got this completed and had a great time while in Austin last weekend with the girls.

-Continue to attend Barre Classes// I have done well with attending my Barre classes so far.

-Relax more// I did this somewhat last month but still need some more time to relax. I would love a week of just doing nothing.

-Finish reading Leave Your Mark// This did not happen unfortunately. I did read some more of it but did not finish it.

-Find new meals to cook// I found two new meals to cook but have not cooked them yet.

Blog:

-Do at least one collaboration with another blogger// This still has not happened. I was supposed to do a group collaboration and nothing happened. I guess I should take this off my goals and maybe one month it will eventually happen.

-Get together a giveaway for my birthday this month// This did not happen either. May was was too busy for me. I did however participate in a giveaway.

-Do beauty reviews/product reviews// This happened! Yah!!! Though I only did one review, I was happy I finally did one. To check out my review click here.

-Grow my Twitter followers now that I am finally on Twitter// I accomplish this! I don’t have a lot of Twitter followers but hey it’s a start.

June Goals: Blog & Personal

Personal

-In addition to attending Barre classes, I want to work out 2’x’s a week at the gym.

-Finish reading Leave Your Mark. I know I can do this!

-Save money for my vacation to Mexico. Last month I did horrible with saving money, so this month I really need to buckle down some.

-Lose 5 lbs by August 7th. I really hope I can do this!

-Stop drinking sodas. I had stopped drinking sodas for a long time and recently started drinking them again.

Blog

-Do at least 1 beauty review.

-Continue to grow my Twitter followers.

-Add a popular post on my sidebar

I’ve decided to keep it simple for my goals this month. I have been extremely busy with work lately, so I want to be able to accomplish my goals this month. What are some of your goals for this month?

Thank You Rachel! Barre classes are intense but such an amazing workout! I have done about 10 classes now and I can tell the difference it has made in my body. Don’t get me wrong, there are times when I am in my classes and am like why?! But I feel amazing afterwards.

    Fabulous goals!

I really want to start a barre class. I do Pilates and hit the gym, but I used to dance so the barre calls to me. Strongly recommended?

Thank You Laura! Barre classes are a lot of fun and very intense (in a good way though). I have never done pilates but the place I do my barre classes overs it. So I really want to check it out soon. I also used to dance, so I figured why not try out barre classes. You should def look into them!

  8. One of my goals should be to remain consistent with working out, but I can’t seem to commit due to the time and my boyfriend and I influence each other not to go to the gym LOL. We cancelled the gym membership because it was a waste of money and now it’s literally 110 degrees in the desert so we can’t work out outdoors, so we have to work out indoors which we don’t do :-O xx Adaleta Avdic

Adaleta sticking to a consistent work out schedule is not easy! I really have been trying to get better at it because I really want to lose weight. I like to mix my work outs up a bit. It is also way too hot here to work out in the heat. If I do work out, outside it is late in the evening when it cools off a little.

Thank You! As far as losing 5 lbs (I am hoping that I am able to accomplish this), I have been working out at least 3 x’s a week, eating as healthy as I can and drinking a lot of water. My weight is a constant yo-yo. Sometimes I lose and sometimes I gain. For saving money I really have cut back on spending less on things I truly do not need. It’s not easy but it can be done. 🙂

  12. I would love a week of doing nothing too! It feels so needed. I had collaboration as one of my blog goals for awhile but it never seemed to happen – now finally this month I have a guest post exchange happening – so I’m sure you’ll get there eventually!

  14. I had some hits and misses myself last month. I hope you crush your goals this month. I am also trying to loose 5 pounds by my birthday July 9th (and hopefully more after that). The biggest thing I can say it ditch the soda for sure for so many reasons. Good luck lady. 🙂

Good luck with losing 5 lbs before your bday! I’m sure you got that! I have been drinking a lot of water lately and barley any soda at all. So that’s one step in the right direction. 🙂
