On Wednesdays We Confess Vol 16

humpdayconfessions

It’s finally Wednesday!!! I can’t tell you how happy I am to be half way through this week. I am looking forward to my long weekend! I need a little bit of time away from work, so I am going to make the best of it. Here are my confessions for this week

I confess that I have been thinking about taking on a new business venture. It is a lot of money to get into it but I have a feeling it’s really going to pay off. Or at least I hope it will.

I confess that with this possible new business venture it will be somewhat along the lines of having my own boutique but not quite.

I confess that I know there is something more in life than sitting at a desk all day in the corporate world being unhappy.

I confess that I really want the new Anastasia Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette. It is so pretty!

I confess that I have been reading a little more lately. Not as much as I want but it’s a start.

I confess that work has really stressed me out lately. I almost cried while at work last week.

I confess that I really need to try to not be so stressed when it comes to work. I am in control of my happiness. There may be some setbacks but I am not going to let it ruin my happiness.

I confess that last weekend we had another crawfish boil with our neighbors and friends. We had an amazing time!

I confess that I am happy that we got some rain here in TX yesterday. It helped cool things off a little bit.

I confess that I am really excited to try a new Barre class this Friday. It’s a Pilates one. I have never done Pilates before, so it should be interesting.

I hope everyone has a great day! Remember you’re in control of your own happiness! Do you have anything to confess for this week?

These are great confessions to have! I’m happy to feel like I know the person behind the screen a little better! I hope your business dreams take off like you never imagined! Cry it out girl, sometimes you just need to. And YES so happy for the rain we got here in Texas, praying it stays this cool.

Darryon I hope that my dreams take off soon and that they pay off. I didn’t cry it out but I came very close to it. I did do some de-stressing though. 🙂 I was happy to see a little bit of rain here! As long as it does not flood I am happy. 🙂

I think you should totally take the risk and pursue the business venture! Especially if your corporate job is making you unhappy. Read a bunch of women entrepreneur books to get fired up about it! I recommend “#GirlBoss”, “Girl Code”, “I Am That Girl”, “She Takes On The World” and “Leave Your Mark.” It will inspire you to take the plunge and you won’t regret it 🙂

Sam I have been doing a lot of research and asking a lot of questions for this upcoming possible venture. I am hoping that if I take the plunge that it works out for me! This whole corporate world thing is just not doing it for me. I tried reading #GirlBoss and could not get through it. I will have to try reading it again. I am currently reading Leave Your Mark and I love it so far! 🙂

I’m definitely lusting over the new Anastasia palette too. The colors are so romantic looking, I love it! I feel you on the taking on new ventures, I’m always toying with that idea too. Starting your own boutique would be awesome!

Cara I have been waiting to buy it but I want the palette so bad. I am glad that they made it permanent. So many of their palettes are limited edition. I really hope that if I take this new venture that it works out for me. It’s not going to be cheap to start by any means but I think it will pay off. 🙂

ooooo a new business venture?! That sounds so exciting! I can’t wait to hear about it! I really wanted the new ABH palette, too, but it was sold out at Ulta this week and I wanted to use my 20% discount coupon, so I opted for the itCosmetics Pro 3 instead! It’s really pretty! And Yay for another crawfish boil! Those are really an experience, although I’m not sure I’ll need to have another one for quite a while.

Chelsie I am really hoping this new business venture comes to life soon and that I am able to do well with it. I really need it to because I don’t know how much more I can handle in the corporate world. I have yet to see the itCosmetics Pro 3 palette. I went to look at getting the ABH palette over the weekend and it was sold out. I guess I will have to wait on it. I don’t really need it…but yo know. Crawfish boils are so much fun!! I understand though not being from LA it’s an experience. 🙂
