July Goals

julygoals

June has come and gone and now we are hereΒ in July. I really feel like I don’t remember much of June because it went by so fast! Don’t get me wrong I am excited for July because that means I am a little closer to my trip to Cancun and fall will be here soon (or so I hope). Now let’s see how I did with my June goals.

June Goals Revisited

Β Personal

-In addition to attending Barre classes, I want to work out 2’x’s a week at the gym// I have been continuing to attend my Barre classes however I have not been going to the gym consistently like I’ve wanted too.

-Finish reading Leave Your Mark// Nope. Didn’t finish it but I have read more of it. So I guess that partially counts.

-Save money for my vacation to Mexico// I have saved a little bit of money and I think that getting my passport renewed somewhat counts for saving money for the trip.

-Lose 5 lbs by August 7th// August 7th isn’t here yet, so this goal is still ongoing. I will say that with taking my Barre classes, I have lost several inches off my body. I see that as a win!

-Stop drinking sodas// I have significantly reduced my intake of drinking sodas. I have been drinking a ton of water!

Blog

-Do at least 1 beauty review// Failed at this! I seriously need to get on this again.

-Continue to grow my Twitter followers// Win! I have slowly been growing my Twitter followers. I feel that I need to up my game on Twitter though.

-Add a popular post on my sidebar// This has not happened yet.

So as you can see I did okay on my goals for June. I wish I would have been able to accomplish more but seeing that work has kept me busy, I have not been able to do much. I am hoping that July will be much better! Here are my goals for this month!

July Goals: Blog & Personal

Personal

-Attend Barre classes at least 2 x’s a week and work out 2 x’s a week.

-Continue reading Leave Your Mark & Me Before You

-Take a leap of faith with start a new business. I have done a lot of research on this business and everything seems so positive. I know that of course there are negatives that come with it but it’s something I really want to do.

-Attempt to be more positive at work. Y’all work has been sucking the life out of me again. I wake up in a great mood but the second I get to work…I become a negative Nancy. I am trying to hang in there for now. (Hence the reason I want to start a new business).

-Continue to save for my trip to Mexico.

-Eat healthier by eating more protein and vegetables.

-Lose 5 lbs by Aug 7th.

Blog

-Utilize social media more. I really want to post more on Instagram and Twitter.

-Start posting 3 x’s a week again. With things being crazy in my work life I am hoping I can start doing this again.

-Write some beauty reviews.

-Plan some posts ahead of time.

I really hope that this month I can do better at accomplishing my goals. June was a rough month for me but I am hoping July will be much better. What are some of your goals for this month? I’d love to hear them in the comments below.

  12. June is a crazy month for almost everyone. You didn’t do too bad πŸ™‚ Congrats on cutting back on soda and working out! I actually tell my clients to take their measurements and not worry about the scale so much. It is so much more important!

Terryn I agree that June was crazy for a lot of us. I have been doing very well with not drinking as many sodas, which I am proud of. I still do drink my sweet tea here and there. I agree that losing inches at times is more important than losing actual pounds.
