Friday 5 Vol 10: Shows I Am Loving Lately

Friday 5: Shows I am loving lately

TGIF!!! This week has went by pretty fast and I am not complaining! I am ready to enjoy my weekend. Today I am sharing five tv shows that I have been binge watching like crazy lately (some old and new). I will admit that I am such a sucker when it comes to watching tv shows. I can’t help it!

1.Real Housewives of New Jersey// I have always been addicted to watching the New Jersey Housewives. Now that Teresa is out of jail, I am sure that this season will be more than interesting. I wonder how long the “changed” Teresa will last (from what I’ve seen it doesn’t) and if she will mend her relationships with Melissa & Jacqueline. I’m sure we are in for a drama filled season but I am loving it so far.

2. Dead of Summer// This show isn’t amazing I will admit but I’m hooked. It is creepy and has enough drama to keep me interested. It’s set in the 80’s at Camp Stillwater that has been re-opened causing ancient evil mythologies to awaken. Once the evil awakens a lot of disturbing things begin happening.

3. Jane the Virgin// I have been so behind on watching this show! I have not watched it since Season 2 when Jane had her baby. I am slowly getting back into it. This show has a great mixture of family, relationships, drama, etc. I feel that Jane’s character is very relatable because her life was perfect until something unexpected happens (I don’t want to spoil anything with giving away more details). We all know how that goes.

4. Young & Hungry// Again I have been really behind on watching this show. I love Gabi and how unpredictable her life is. Of course I love the rest of the cast is just as great! This show is also easy to relate to because Gabi has career struggles, roommate drama, love life drama, etc. Reminds me of my college days.

5. Guilt// This show has kept me intrigued because at the beginning of the show there is a murder that happens. It’s kind of like a PLL type show in the fact that there could be several people who could have killed Mollie.

These are the shows that I have been watching non stop lately. I did not want to give away too much about the shows and spoil it for everyone (minus RHWONJ). What shows are you currently addicted to that you recommend I watch?

I have had a bit more time to watch TV the past few weeks while on maternity leave so I’ve added quite a few shows to my list. I haven’t heard of any of these with the exception of the first one. Jane the Virgin and Guilt definitely sound interesting.

I’m always looking for shows to watch! I live in France and we like to watch one (American) show at night once the kids are in bed:) I’m usually pretty out of the loop about American tv so thanks for the ideas!

Ugh, I am obsessed with Real Housewives. NJ is off to a good start, but I’m hoping there is a bit more drama in upcoming episodes!

Falon I agree I think these last few episodes have been kind of tame. I have a feeling that this one will be drama filled more than likely.

I love Jane the Virgin! I started late in the game on that one too, but binge watched it and caught up pretty fast. I haven’t heard of Guilt or Dead of Summer, so I’ll have to check them out. I’ve been watching Madame Secretary on Netflix and (although it’s probably old) The Challenge on Hulu.

Shann I love Jane the Virgin, though I am very behind on watching it. Guilt is really good. Dead of Summer is okay not the best show but still kind of interesting. I heard that Madame Secretary was really good and I have never heard of The Challenge. I will have to check them both out soon.

I actually just binge watched all of Young & Hungry on Netflix as can’t wait until season 4 is on there too. I’ve also had Jane the Virgin on my queue for months. I need to hop on that! I’ve seen the promos for Dead of Summer but it didn’t seem intriguing until now. Thanks for the recommendations!
