September Goals/Intentions

monthly-intentions-feature-photo-my-edit

Happy September! I know I am a little late with this post but I just returned from my Cancun trip. I missed the blogging world and blogging; however, it was to disconnect from everything. I am excited to be joining a new goal collaboration with some fellow bloggers  today (for me it’s new at least)! I will be sharing my goals from last month, this month and my high/lows for last month. So let’s see how I did last month.

August Goals Revisited

Personal

-Finish reading Leave Your Mark & Me Before You// I finished reading Me Before You. I loved it! However; I did not finish Leave Your Mark.

-Continue to work out at least 2 x’s a week// Yes and no. Last month was crazy, so I slacked a good bit on working out at times.

-Take better care of myself// Though work was really crazy, I tried to not let it stress me out. I did more relaxing.

-Declutter my closet// I did very well at this. Seeing that there was flooding that happened in Louisiana, I wanted to be able to donate clothes to those in need.

-Start preparing for my trip to Cancun// My trip to Cancun is over, so this was completed with no issues. I actually prepared for it early.

Blog

-Up my Instagram game by posting more// I did a little better with posting but still need to get better at it.

-Continue planning posts ahead of time// I did this on some weeks and others I completely failed.

-Do some collaborations with other bloggers// As you can see this post is a collaboration and I am also doing Thursday Huddle link up. So I am really excited about both of these.

August Highs:

-Saving up money for my trip to Cancun.

-Visiting Cancun.

August Lows:

-The madness of work. Things has slowed down somewhat but then it got crazy again.

September Goals: Blog & Personal

Personal:

-Read at least 50 pages of Leave Your Mark. I feel that saying complete a book at times for me is not obtainable each month, so this would be better for me.

-Start working out again. I really slacked off last month with working out, so I need to get back into my routine.

-Eat healthier. Seeing that I did not eat that healthy while on vacation, I really want to get back into the habit of eating food that is better for me.

-Start saving money for Christmas presents.

Blog:

-Post at least 3 x’s a week.

-Plan/Write posts ahead of time.

-Interact more on Instagram & Twitter

So there you have it! What are you goals for this month?

  2. Those sound like great goals. I think it is important to set up realistic and achievable goals and it sounds like you’ve done that.

Thank You Beth! I try to keep my goals realistic because there are some things I know I can not do all at one time.

  3. I love Me Before You! I read it earlier this summer, and I couldn’t put it down!! And that’s so awesome that you cleaned out your closet for donations. I’ve really been putting off that chore, but maybe now is a good time to do that.

Samantha it was such a good book. I know there are some that would say that it is not a good book because of what happens in the end. I got the movie and it was not as good as I expected. I cleaned a good bit out of my closet. I am sure I could do some more. Lol.

Angela I had a great trip to Cancun! I had slacked off on self care for myself and it took a toll on me. So it’s a must moving forward. Good luck with your goals this month!

First off – Loooove Cancun. That’s where I went for my Honeymoon. Totally ate my weight in food, but had a blast. What were some of your favourites there?

Good luck working out a schedule. I find that it’s the most important and sometimes the most difficult for me to do. Especially when I’m working on more self care.

I love Instagram – but I have such a hate on actually creating for it. Totally need to check out your IG feed!! Perhaps that will inspire me a bit too.

I think for me the only goal I really need to set for myself is taking care of myself. Getting sick stinks… blah.

Good luck with your goals! Can’t wait to read October!!

Chel, Cancun is so pretty! This was my second time going. My favorite thing from this trip was vising Isla Mujures. The water on the beach there was so beautiful. I have been doing really well with working out lately. Still trying to get into a routine. I also have a love/hate relationship with Instagram. With my schedule I don’t have all the time to constantly post. I try to post a few times a week when I can. Self care if def important! Good luck with staying healthy!!!
