On Wednesdays We Confess Vol 29

humpdayconfessions

Happy Hump Day!!! It’s only Wednesday though. I feel like this has been a long week already. I am looking very forward to my day off Friday. Here are my confessions for this week.

I confess that I participated in the Susan G Komen 5K race over the weekend. I finished in 40 minutes (not great timing) but considering my knee wanted to give out half the race and my foot went numb…I’ll take it.

I confess that I have decided to look for more 5K’s to participate in.

I confess that I have gotten into a routine of eating breakfast again. I’m not sure if it’s benefiting me or hurting me.  By the time 11:00 rolls around, I want to eat my arm off because I am starving.

I confess that I really dislike TX drivers (sorry if your from TX and that offends you but I can say this because I live in TX). TX drivers are some of the rudest dang drivers ever. Insert several curse words here.

I confess that it really burns my bottom when you are nice to another driver by letting them in during traffic and they don’t give you a hand wave to say thank you. Um…I could have let you sit there. Ugh.

I confess that I have been taking Iron and Ginkgo Biloba to see if it would help me feel less fatigued and alert. They seem to be helping me a little.

I confess that I am looking in to doing the Whole 30. I know Shann did it and my neighbors are doing it currently. Not sure how I feel though about not drinking wine for 30 whole days. Lol.

I confess that I am determined to be in better shape by Christmas.

I confess that it sucks when a company continues to give more work and does not compensate you for it.

I confess that I have been trying out new recipes lately. My boyfriend is loving it.

I confess that I am trying to decide on where to take a vacation at the week after Christmas. We are looking at Nashville/Pigeon Forge or Colorado currently. We are leaning towards going skiing.

Hope everyone enjoys their Hump Day! What are you confessing today?

  1. Girlfriend! Good for you for completing the Susan G. Komen 5K. I think your time was good but then again it’s because i’d be way behind that! I wish we lived closer to each other, i’d love to get involved in 5Ks. I’ve been eating breakfast again and I’m the same way. By 11 i’m starving. My husband was off last week and I was eating beef stew by the time he was looking for something for breakfast! Join my Facebook group for recipes. You can share yours and hopefully find some new, good ones, too! I’m trying to revive this little group of mine! https://www.facebook.com/groups/PeachysRecipeSwap/

    Happy Wednesday Sweet Friend!

I was proud that I finished it with all my issues going on! But that has just motivated me to do better for the next one and to get back into shape. I honestly need to not feel so tired, so working out I think will really help me out some. I swear now that I started eating breakfast again I want to eat everything in sight come 11. I will def down your fb group for new recipes!!!! 🙂

That’s awesome that you completed a 5K and are looking for more! I’ve been working out, but have been slacking in my running. I wish we lived closer so you could motivate me to run with you. Thanks for the shout out on the Whole 30 🙂 Giving up the wine wasn’t the hardest part for me since I’d had to do it before during pregnancy. It was the sweets! But, if I can do it, you can certainly do it!

I hope to be able to do more 5K’s soon. I am looking at doing one in April for sure. My boyfriend and I have been trying to get into better shape. So running is something we both enjoy. You’re welcome for the shout out! I don’t drink a lot but there are those days after work that a glass of wine (or more) is needed. I think after I read the book and understand it better, I should be good to go (hopefully).

Congrats on your 5k! That’s awesome! I confess I’ve always wanted to do one, but now it’s too much of a hassle because we don’t have any family nearby to help with the kids.

  13. Thanks for this wonderful article. One other thing is that nearly all digital cameras arrive equipped with any zoom lens that permits more or less of the scene to become included simply by ‘zooming’ in and out. These changes in target length are usually reflected in the viewfinder and on substantial display screen on the back of any camera.
