On Wednesdays We Confess Vol 32

humpdayconfessions

Happy Wednesday Y’all!!! Can you believe that November is going to be here in just a few days? Such craziness. I hope that everyone is having a great day so far. Friday is almost here!! Here are my confessions for this week.

I confess that I am ready for the weekend.

I confess that I had a two hour deep tissue massage last Friday.

I confess that while getting that much needed massage, there were a few times I wanted to run off the table. My massage therapist played no games when it came to working out the knots, tension, etc that I had. Talk about pain!!! It was exactly what I needed though. I’m ready for my next one in a few weeks.

I confess that I have been thinking about this blog and where I want it to go. It is not where I want it to be. My blog needs a lot of work as far as the content I want to produce. I’m hoping to work towards where I want this blog to be in the future. It’s going to take some time.

I confess that blogging is hard work. I have lists and lists of posts that I want to write but finding time to take photos, etc is not easy.

I confess that I had a great time seeing my family last weekend. I was the photographer for my cousins home coming (just for he and his date). I also got to celebrate my grandfather’s 83rd birthday.

I confess that I really need to buckle down and get rid of some recent clutter. I woke up this morning and was like yeah this isn’t going to work for me. Cleaning purge coming soon!

I confess that I am debating on how I want to get my hair done next week. I think I am going to put some dark purple in my hair. How I want it though is the question. Highlights, dip-dyed tips, etc.

I confess that I have become a little withdrawn from certain things. More so social media.

I confess that I sometimes get anxiety when I go grocery shopping. We went shopping Monday night and it was so packed to the point to where you could hardly go down the isles, etc. I almost would have rather starved then to deal with that crowd. I’ve become this way more as I’ve gotten older.

I confess that this is the first post that I have written in over a week. I’ve really been slacking guys.

I hope y’all enjoyed my confessions for this week. What do you have to confess today?

  1. aww Mistle it sounds like you need to give yourself a break. blogging is hard but when im feeling down about it or feeling overwhelmed, I try and remember why I started – and for me, because I love writing and its my little project. I also hear you on the supermarket anxiety. they are so bright too and they often make me feel dizzy :/ found you on SYBL fb group 🙂

Emma I have taken a little bit of a break. Hoping to get a little one this weekend. Blogging is a lot of work. I guess I just have not been feeling the whole blogging thing lately. Hoping that I get back into my grove soon. Going to a super market when it is crowded is not fun at all.

Thank You Erin! I wish I had more time to blog. I think if I did, I would have better posts. Hopefully I can get some blogging stuff done this weekend.

  3. I’m so jealous of your massage!! I need one so badly… insane work schedule + 22 lb 8 month old = serious back probs!

  4. Happy Wednesday Sweet Friend! I’m right there with you on so much of this! I’ve been in a funk lately and just trying to figure out what direction I want all my social media to go. I’ve been super quiet lately because I’ve been trying to figure it out and find some inspiration. I can say it has worked. I feel so ready to take on November.

Taking photos is the hard part of blogging. I’ve been working on that part more and actually I am loving it. I’ve been cleaning out clutter lately, too. I’m trying to live by the “buy something new, get rid of something else” method.

Family time is so awesome. I always leave it feeling so refreshed and happy. Its really the best.

I think purple highlights would be super pretty but anything you do will be pretty!

Girl, I get anxiety when I go out into crowds on my own sometimes, too. I never really was that way before but lately I’ve been getting that way. I think it’s because of the state of the world we live in. I don’t want to live in fear and it’s not going to stop me from going out on my own but I feel like you always have to be on your toes these days.

Leslie I have not been in a funk in awhile. I have been so positive for almost two months. I guess we all have our times when we get into our funks. Hopefully a nice relaxing weekend will get me out of think funk. I just have not been feeling the whole blogging thing lately. I think it’s good to take breaks though when needed. I hope that November will be much better!

I am going to try to take a lot of photos this weekend for future blog posts! It takes so much time! I really want to get a lighting kit but I’m also trying to save money for Christmas and my trip. I can not wait to do some serious cleaning this weekend. Clutter will be minimized as much as possible.

I had a great time with my family over the weekend. It was nice to spend time with them.

I really think I am going to do purple highlights. I had them before but they didn’t exactly turn out how I wanted them to. Let’s hope this time is different (I have a different stylist).

I hate when there are a ton of people around me when shopping (probably why I do not do black friday). I don’t like the idea of being suffocated while being in a crowd. It’s crazy how when I was younger, I had no issues with it. Now I am like please give me some space. I do agree that we always have to be on our toes with everything going on in this world. Hope you had a great Wednesday my sweet friend!!!

Shann I have just been with drawn lately. I’m okay with that though. I have been completely slacking on posting on Instagram. I just don’t have any great photos to post. I find that if I post about my life or things in my life that people unfollow me. So you can’t ever really win on Instgram it seems. I hope my hair turns out good! 🙂

I’m the same way with wanting to work/improve my blog. It’s so hard balancing working full time and maintaining a life while trying to get a blog (business) up and running. We’ll get there, though, with time! 😉

Cara I get ahead a little bit with the blog and then it seems like I get nothing done the next week. I am really hoping this weekend I can take a ton of photos for future blog posts to get that out of the way. Blogging takes a lot of time. By the time I get home from work, I have so many other things to do. We will make it! 🙂

I’m a bit jealous about your massage, I definitely need one! Also, I (try) to only go grocery shopping early Saturday and Sunday mornings because otherwise I get WAY too stressed out by all of the people, screaming children, or adults just totally clueless that other people exist; it’s totally not worth it to me.

Katie it was much needed! We typically go grocery shopping once a week (which if fine with me). That Monday it was just insane. I was like what is going on with all of these people? It had me on edge.

  10. I confess that I wish I could just lay on the couch in my pajamas for the next few days so I can get better from being sick. *sigh*

  12. I could really go for a massage — after my car accident I had to get weekly massages and she would put me to sleep almost every time. Blogging can be so difficult! I recently started over with a clean slate and was so thankful that I did so. It is so easy to get into a rut.

McKenzie I love massages. I should get them more often. Blogging is very difficult at times. I took a little breather for a week to get back on track. Hopefully I’ll be fully charged again.
