November is almost at an end. I can’t believe that we have less than a month till Christmas. I feel that the holiday months go by way too fast. I feel that we need longer holiday months. Maybe that is just me. Today I wanted to share what I’ve been up to recently. I love these posts because I like to see what other bloggers have going on in their lives.

Reading: Posts about the Gilmore Girls Revival.

Playing: Nothing at this moment.

Watching: Gilmore Girls Revival. I will say that I loved it and hated it. I know they said this was written how they wanted it to be but honestly….it only left me with more questions.

Trying: To piece together my thoughts about GG.

Cooking: Nothing but earlier I cooked eggs, bacon and biscuits.

Eating: I ate earlier (see above). But nothing currently.

Drinking: Water. It is my favorite drink to drink.

Texting: My friend Dana about our thoughts on the GG Revival.

Pinning: Anything and everything. I am a pinterest freak. I pin blogging tips, fashion, make up,etc.

Loving: That I do not have to go in to work tomorrow. Another day off. Tuesday is going to be rough. I am not excited. Also that I got to spend time with my family for Thanksgiving.

Discovering: New blog posts to create for the future.

Thinking: How much I am going to love sleeping in again tomorrow morning.

Feeling: Indecisive on how I feel about everything that happened on GG.

Hoping: They decide to make more GG episodes. They have to!

Smelling: The candle I am burning from Bath & Body Works.

Starting: Blog posts for the holidays.

Finishing: This post.

Hope you enjoyed some recent insight into my life. Sorry for so much Gilmore Girls being in this post but I had to. What are you up to currently?

Lecy I will say that it is best to try to watch the old episodes of Gilmore Girls first to understand the Revival better. I will say that the Revival was okay. Not what I was expecting.

I’m the same way about the Gilmore Girls revival. I feel like 2/4 of the episodes wasted a lot of unnecessary time on stuff that wasn’t even relevant (i.e. showing us the whole town musical) I mean what was up with that?! Also, I was kinda bummed that some of the characters were literally only on the show for a whole 30 seconds to 1 minute. But all in all I was left shocked in the end and wanting more. 🙂

Cara I agree. The musical wasted way too much time. I get that it was supposed to be Star Hallows history but so not needed. The ending had me completely shocked. I was really surprised with Rory’s character now. Not what I was expecting. I really hope that they make more episodes because it answered very little for the fans.

  3. What candle do you have burning? I just ordered some Bath and Bodyworks candles, and some of them are so strong they smell gross!

Alexandra I have one from last year (not sure if they will have it again this year) it’s called Black Tie. It is supposed to be a manly scent but it also is a little sweet. Different from what I thought it would be. What candles do you have?

I really need to start watching GG – everyone is so excited about the revival but also disappointed. I should really get into it!

Chrissy it is a really good show! The revival was not what I expected. It does make sense after reading theories and really thinking about it. Still a little disappointed.

I feel like the only person on the planet who doesn’t watch Gilmore Girls. I love books and coffee so I should probably just binge the series!

Falon I know several people who have never watched GG. It’s a really great show! Or at least I think it is. The revival wasn’t what I expected.

Elizabeth it would be so great for them to give us more. I doubt they will but we can hope. I was disappointed in how Rory was in the revival. Not what I was expecting but it fits altogether after the theories I read.

  7. I HATED the ending to the Gilmore Girls Revival. It was pretty good up until that last scene… :/

Kristin it took me by surprise. Not what I was expecting at all. It does make sense but Rory is just not the same.

Erin there were things that I really loved on the GG Revival and some things I just didn’t like. I feel that Rory lost everything that she stood for previously. I didn’t expect her character to be that way. I would like to see what happens in more episodes.

  11. I’m currently preparing for Christmas and bill paying at the same time, yuck! Not sure how to fix my budget to make it through this month. Also getting my holiday blog posts in order! I love the layout of this post, I might try to make something similar!

Marci that does not sound like fun at all! Believe me I completely understand about budgeting and the holidays! I am not quite prepared yet. I’ve done a little Christmas shopping so far. I have almost finalized my holiday posts for the blog.

  12. I haven’t had time to watch GG yet so anytime I see anyone post anything about it on FB I have to scroll past it quick so I don’t see any spoilers!
