Most Popular Posts of STH 2016

Dec 29

I can not believe that 2016 is coming to a close. I know I always say this, but 2016 flew by. I honestly do not know where the year went. I feel like we just started 2016. Does anyone else feel the same way?

Last year I did a round-up of my most popular posts and I found that my readers really enjoyed it. So I decided to do another one. It was also really helpful to see what post performed well for future content planning. I hope you enjoy my 2016 round-up.

Blogging & Social Media

How To Use Stumble Upon To Increase Blog Traffic // I know when I first heard about Stumble Upon, I had no idea how to use it. After doing a lot of research, I found out that it’s really easy to use. I also found that there were a lot of other bloggers like myself, who had no idea how to use it. I got a lot of great feedback on how this post helped other bloggers.

Things You Should Be Doing When You Do Not Have A Post Scheduled // As a blogger we constantly have to promote our content, in this post I shared five things to help increase traffic to your blog when you do not have a post scheduled.

My Favorite Blogging Resources // The resources listed in this post helped me out so much when I was learning how to become a better blogger (I’m still learning). I love all of these bloggers and their content.

5 Things I Wish I Knew Before I Started Blogging // If I would have known how much work and dedication goes into blogging ahead of time, I would have probably did a lot more investing in the beginning. Blogging is hard work and it’s no joke.

Why I Read Your Blog // There are a ton of posts out there in the blogging community about “Why I Do Not Read Your Blog”, so I decided to take a more positive approach for this post. As bloggers we should be cheering each other on instead of trying to bring each other down. Don’t get my wrong, I know my blog is not meant for everyone and that’s okay. We all read blogs that appeal to us but still it’s always nice to be positive in the community.

Beauty

Too Faced Peanut Butter & Jelly Palette Review // This has been one of my favorite beauty posts that I have written so far. I love Too Faced products and this palette is a favorite of mine.

ColourPop Holiday 2016 Review + Swatches // I absolutely love ColourPop products. They are so affordable and cruelty free. Their holiday collection this year was amazing and had such adorable packaging.

October 2016 Favorites // I love writing about my monthly favorites. It allows my readers to know what products I’m currently loving and why they are worth purchasing. I also love reading other bloggers monthly favorite posts.

Play! by Sephora September Review // This is one of my favorite boxes that I received from this subscription. If you haven’t tried out this subscription service, I highly recommend it.

Play! by Sephora July Review // My first review of Play! by Sephora. I was so excited to finally get off the wait list and share my box with you.

Personal

30 Lessons I Learned In 30 Years //This was the most personal post I have written on the blog and one of my favorites. I enjoyed being able to share what I learned through out my 30 years of life.

Love/Hate Relationships //  Oh the things we love and the things we hate. We all of those relationships with certain things. This what apart of the 52 Week Blogger Challenge.

What I Spend My Money On // I don’t know about y’all but I love seeing what people spend their money on. So when this topic came up for the 52 Week Blogger Challenge, I was more than happy to share where all my money goes.

My Strengths & Weaknesses // Being able to admit what your good at is pretty easy; however, showing your weaknesses is not always easy. This really made me think about what I could improve on and how to continue to become better at what I strive in.

Meet My Pets // I loved showing off my sweet and adorable fur babies. They make me happy and who doesn’t love fur babies?

Miscellaneous

10 Ways To Relieve Stress // I tend to stress out a lot over the simplest things. Over the years I have gotten better at finding ways to relieve that stress.

5 Quotes for Monday Motivation // Let’s face it, Monday’s are not my favorite. It’s always nice to have a little motivation to help you get through those crazy Mondays.

25 Fall Date Ideas // I love going on dates with my boyfriend, especially during the Fall. I shared some of my favorite date ideas to go on in this post.

Fall 2016: TV Shows I’m Currently Watching // I love watching tv. I can’t tell you how many shows I have saved on my DVR. Fall tv is always great because a lot of new shows are premiered.

2016 Summer Reading List // I don’t know about y’all but I always love to see what other bloggers are reading. It constantly gives me new ideas on what I should read next. So of course I have to share what I have read/ plan on reading.

There you have it! I hope you enjoyed this round-up of my most popular posts this year. What where your favorite posts on STH?
