January 2017 Favorites

Y’all I can’t begin to tell you how many beauty products I bought in January. I have so many products that I still need to try out! Of course the products that I have tried out and love I am sharing with you today. I hope you enjoy my favorites from last month!

Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner $18// Y’all this toner right here!! Since I began using it the texture of my face has improved so much! My skin has become much smoother and brighter since using it.  I do not find that this toner is harsh on my skin, which I was initially worried about. It’s formulated with 2% glycolic acid and grapefruit extract which helps exfoliate, refresh and stimulate your skin. It also helps reduce coloration from old acne scars.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion $17// When it comes to me having break outs this is my go to product. I was having several break outs on my forehead, so I put a little bit of this on my blemishes and they were gone (almost completely) the next day. It is formulated with Salicylic acid and calamine (hence the drying out). It is not harsh on the skin and can be used for all skin types. I promise you this is worth investing in!

Mario Badescu Cellufirm Moisturizer $18// I love how soft my skin feels after using this moisturizer. I put this on as soon as I use my toner. It contains a seaweed extract which is great for helping reduce the redness on my cheeks. Another great thing about this moisturizer is that it minimizes the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

Tarte Maneater Voluptuous Mascara $23// I have very short eyelashes, so any mascara that can make me look like I have long lashes is a plus! This mascara does just that. With some mascara’s I have to apply several coats in order to get any volume. I can apply 1 to 2 coats of this mascara and my lashes are long and voluptuous. The wand is much bigger than what I am used to but it is so flexible and easy to work with. This mascara contains Jojoba which helps sooth, condition, hydrate, strength and protect your lashes. It also contains Carnauba wax that ensures a smooth application with lengthening and voluminous benefits.

Burt’s Bees Renewal Cleanser $9.99// I have used Burt’s Bees face washes before in the past but I had never used this one. I decided to give it a try after my old face wash was just not cutting for me (I was constantly having break outs on my forehead). Once I started using this cleanser I found that my breakouts were reduced significantly. This cleanser not only removes makeup and dirt but it exfoliates as well. It is not drying which some facial/exfoliates can do. I find this cleanser goes hand in hand with using my toner. My face is much brighter while still being hydrated. Another great thing about this cleanser is that it’s so affordable.

Urban Decay Optical Illusion Complexion Primer $34// This is my new favorite primer!! After I used it a few times I fell in love with it. The formula is very smooth (it reminds me slightly of the Benefit POREfessional primer), my makeup applies flawlessly and it stays on for a very long period of time. A little bit of it goes a long way. When I apply this I find that my pores look much smaller and my face looks very airbrushed. It also does not sit into my fine lines (oh those smile lines that are a pain in my butt) which is a huge plus! This primer contains an blurring pigment that helps skin look smoother. It also has a blend of rosehip, argan and meadowfoam seed oils that provides moisturizing and antioxidant benefits. One more plus is that it has an airless pump on the bottle making it much easier to get all the product out.

Skinfood Egg White Pore Mask $10.50// For those of you who follow me on instagram, y’all got a little sneak peek of me wearing this mask. I had heard great things about egg white masks and how beneficial they are for your skin. I finally took the plunge and tried one out for myself. This has become one of my new favorite masks to use because it has helped reduce the size of my pores, as well as unclogged them. The mask smelled amazing and left my face so soft. The mask contains albumen, vitamin B3, vitamin B2 and so many great ingredients. I promise you will not be disappointed in this mask!

Maskeraide Beauty All Eyes On Me Hydrating Eye Gels Box $25// Do you ever wake up with your eyes looking dull and puffy? I know I do (who hasn’t to be honest)! When my eyes need some life to them I use these eye gels. This eye gel is so hydrating!! I keep them on for about 20 minutes each time I use them (you can use them up to 30 minutes) and let me tell you the difference it makes. My puffiness and dark circles diminish and my eyes are much brighter after applying these. The eye gels contain 100 Herb Complex that consists of 100 natural ingredients that provide moisture and nutrition. It contains no parabans, artificial fragrances or pigments. You can buy these as a set or individually ($7).

Tony Moly Hyaluronic Acid Mask Sheet $4// Another skin care product that I featured on my instagram. Over the last few months I have become extremely obsessed with using sheet masks. This was one of the first ones I had tried from Tony Moly and boy can I say how hydrated my skin felt after taking it off. I felt like I just stepped out of the spa. If you have dry, damaged or stressed skin this masks is for you (you can use it still if you don’t have those issues). If you have never tried out face masks, I highly recommend that you do. Tony Moly has so many great options to choose from depending on your skin type/issues. I will have reviews coming up of other sheet masks I have used.

Have you tried any of these products before? What were some of your favorite things from last month?

  39. I run a vape shop website directory and we have had a posting from a vape store in the USA that also offers for sale CBD items. A Calendar month later, PayPal has written to use to say that our account has been limited and have requested us to remove PayPal as a payment solution from our vape shop directory site. We do not retail CBD products like CBD oil. We only offer web marketing services to CBD firms. I have taken a look at Holland & Barrett– the UK’s Major Health Retail store and if you take a close look, you will witness that they offer a fairly considerable series of CBD goods, primarily CBD oil and they also happen to take PayPal as a payment solution. It emerges that PayPal is applying double standards to many different companies. As a result of this stipulation, I can no longer take PayPal on my CBD-related web site. This has restrained my payment choices and right now, I am seriously dependent on Cryptocurrency payments and straightforward bank transfers. I have sought advice from a lawyer from a Magic Circle law practice in London and they explained that what PayPal is doing is completely unlawful and inequitable as it should be applying a consistent benchmark to all companies. I am yet to get in touch with yet another attorney from a US law practice in The city of london to see what PayPal’s legal position is in the USA. Meanwhile, I would be highly appreciative if anybody here at targetdomain could offer me with alternative payment processors/merchants that work with CBD companies.
