On Wednesdays We Confess Vol 47

Happy Wednesday Y’all!!! I hope everyone is having a great week so far! Mine has been going pretty well!! I however, can not believe that we are already half way through this month. Slow down 2017. With that being said here are my confessions for this week.

I confess that I have been so exhausted lately. Work has just made me crazy tired.

I confess that my boyfriend and I had a low key Valentines Day. We cooked dinner and watched movies.

I confess that I took a little time off from blogging last week to just relax. It’s been very needed.

I confess that I scheduled a massage for myself this weekend. I can not wait!

I confess that I have been planning so much blog content out. I have a lot of y’all to thank for that due to my reader survey.

I confess that I am excited about getting some new ColourPop products in.

I confess that I love my new coworker. She is a great addition to our team. She’s also from Louisiana which is a plus!

I confess that I can not wait till next weekend. We are going to be going to Mardi Gras with our family. We also have a huge crawfish boil planned. Talk about a great time!

I confess that I hate seeing animals in shelters. I wish I could adopt them all! One day if I ever get rich that is my goal. To have a no kill shelter. My heart hurts for the one’s that are dumped by their owners and then are PTS. I just don’t get it.

I confess that I can not get enough of Big Little Lies. It’s such a good book. I can not wait to watch the HBO series!

That wraps up my confessions for this week. Do you have any confessions? How has your week been going so far?

I agree Ashley! Sometimes a quite night at home is so much better than fighting with crowds to eat.

My husband and I had a super low-key Valentine’s too, but those are sometimes the best. 🙂 And I HATE seeing animals in shelters as well as those commercials with the sad puppies. Ugh… it gets me every time.

  6. We had a low-key Valentine’s Day as well. We had dinner and then he took me to Ulta to pick some thing out. 🙂 Then we watched a movie. It was nothing too fancy or crazy; just nice!

Marette low key Valentine’s Day is sometimes way better than going out, etc. I find that restaurants are just too crowded on that day. So I prefer cooking a nice home meal and watching movies. 🙂 What did you get from Ulta?

  7. Happy Wednesday Love! I confess i’m sitting here watching Trolls because sometimes I just need to be a three year old. Haha. I’ve been so exhausted lately, too. For the last month all I want to do is sleep. I’ve been thinking about taking a mini blogging break, too but it’s my happiness and my creative outlet. I’m sure i’ll take some breaks once summer comes though.

My hubby, son and I had a low key Valentine’s Day yesterday. I cooked steak pasta and white chocolate cheesecake then I fell asleep while my hubby & I were laying in bed playing with the dog. I’m jealous of you going to Mardi Gras and having a crawfish boil. That sounds amazing! I’m excited for you and your new co-worked, maybe she’ll make work a little more fun!

    Happy Wednesday love!
    Xo

Hi Sweet friend! I have not seen Trolls yet but I heard it was really cute. I completely understand with just wanting to be a three year old sometimes. If I could go back to taking naps, etc I so would!!! Work has just really drained me since last month. I go to bed early and still wake up exhausted. I think though with time since I am working out more, it will give me more energy (hopefully). I did not blog in over a week and it was nice. I did however work on future blogging stuff but still have so much to do, to get those posts together. I am so slacking off. Ugh. Sometimes you just need a small break. Even if it’s for a week that’s okay. We are all human. White chocolate cheesecake sounds so good!!! We cooked a pork loin. I am very excited about next weekend. It’s been awhile since I have done Mardi Gras. Hopefully she will make work a little more fun! Hope you had a great Wednesday!!!

I confess that I’m looking forward to tonight, to 8 uninterrupted hours of “me” time. I’m a night shift labor and delivery nurse and I always stay up the night before my first night back so I can sleep the following day before work … Everyone in my house is asleep and I get to do my own thing – it’s glorious!

  14. I confess that I have never been to a crawfish boil, but I’d love to! My husband lived in Louisiana for a couple of years before we got married so he went to a lot and said they are tons of fun and great food.

  16. Love your honesty! Not having enough time and/or energy has been a big thing lately for me. It seems I can never have enough coffee to get through my day. One thing I have tried to do is prioritizing time to recover each week.

Thank You Erin! I’ve always been honest. I have not had a lot of energy lately because work has been very busy since last month. I have a lot of coffee in my hand as well. I find that if I take a little time off from doing everything I need to do it helps. Yes some things may get pushed back but it’s important to remember yourself at times.
