On Wednesdays We Confess Vol 51

Happy Wednesday Y’all!! I could not be happier to see today! I am one day closer to spending time with my family this weekend. I haven’t seen them in almost a month, so I’m really looking forward to it. We will be celebrating my cousins and grandmothers birthday, so it’s going to be a fun filled weekend! But before we get to the weekend here are my confessions for this week.

I confess that I am taking a makeup class this weekend. I’m really excited to learn some new tips and tricks.

I confess that I gave in yesterday and had a Dr. Pepper. I have been doing really well with not drinking coffee or soft drinks over the last two weeks but this girl needed some caffeine. Oh well. It’s called balance.

I confess that I have done fairly well with cutting back the amount of sugar I was used to consuming.

I confess that I have had baby fever recently. I am 30 years old, so I guess I am hearing my “time clock” ticking away. However, my boyfriend and I are not married, so a baby will not be happening anytime soon. (Please note that I do not have anything against having kids and not being married. I just would prefer to be married).

I confess that I am loving that it stays light outside later with the time change. It makes taking blogging pictures a lot easier when I get off of work.

I confess that I have felt so disorganized lately. I get everything I need to get done but I feel like I have been way more relaxed lately. I have enjoyed not being stressed out but I feel like I am slacking because of that.

I confess that I am trying really hard to lose weight within the next month or so for my beach trip. If it doesn’t happen I don’t think I’ll be wearing a bathing suit.

I confess that I was a little disappointed that the straps on my Michael Kors purse could not be fixed when they sent it off. No offense but not having the parts to fix it is not an excuse. I just got this purse last year for Christmas and they have the exact same style but with bigger straps. So I’ll be taking this issue to someone higher up and if it can’t be fixed….well let’s just say I will no longer be buying MK items (though I prob still will). It just sucks that I have a purse that I can no longer use.

I confess that I really need to get my taxes done. I remember when I was in college, I was so quick to get them done to have the extra cash. Now that I am older I am like okay I will get it done before April 15th. I need to get on that now.

Hope everyone has a great Wednesday! What are you confessing today?

Allison it sucks! I plan on reaching out to corporate about the issue. You shouldn’t have to pay so much money and then it can’t be fixed. It’s annoying.

  4. RIP Michael Kors purse. That’s always a bummer when something like that can’t be repaired. Love these posts!

  5. Happy Wednesday Doll! I feel like you wrote my confessions for the week. I would love to take a make up class! Are you taking one at Sephora?

Yay for not consuming so much sugar. I’ve been doing it since the beginning of the month and I feel better. I’m not giving up coffee and sweet tea though, i’m just cutting back a lot. Now sugar either tastes really good (like sweet tea) or really bad (like my favorite PB & J candy bar). I’ve had baby fever so bad lately but it’s just not happening for us. Everyone keeps telling me it’ll happen when I least expect it.

I love that it’s staying lighter later, too! I really feel like I get so much more done this time of year because i’m not ready to crawl under a blanket by 6. I am so sorry about your MK bag. That really sucks. I’d be going to someone higher up, especially since they still sell the same bag, just with bigger straps!

Taxes are the pits, man. We’re about to head out for our second tax meeting because my student loans messed with ours. 😛

I hope you have an amazing end of the week, doll!

I love that I could have written your confessions on this day! I actually took the makeup class at a salon. It was fun but I knew everything that was taught. I probably should have asked about what it was teaching. It’s okay though! I got some new makeup brushes out of it. I have been doing fairly well still with not consuming any sugar. I’ve had some sweet tea and a dr.pepper….whoops. Oh well! It’s all about balance. I have not had any coffee though still. Which I was drinking starbucks 2-3 times a week. I agree that a baby will happen when you lease expect it. 🙂 Don’t stress over it. Just pray. This whole daylight being longer has been a blessing. It helps so much with being able to take blog pictures. I am disappointed in my MK bag. Hopefully there will be some resolution! I still have not done my taxes yet. It’s on my list of things to get done this weekend!

  6. You can totally lose the weight before your beach trip! Try putting up reminders to help encourage you or have someone encourage to keep going! I always feel like I can accomplish anything when I have someone cheering me on! 🙂 I confess that I have been taking a quick nap almost everyday. With two kids and my hormones being all out of wack I have been so tired lately. Great post!

Elizabeth I have been so determined to lose weight. I’ve been doing well with cutting out sugar so far. I’ve even cut back a little on carbs. Naps are so nice! Sometimes I take them in my car while on my lunch break. Hope you have a great week!

That’s so disappointing to hear about your MK bag. And it’s definitely okay to treat yourself to a drink! Like you said, it’s all about balance ☺ I’ve been doing better with cutting back on sugar (I’ve actually stopped adding it to my coffee altogether!) keep it up, girl! You’re doing great!

Kiara I was very disappointed about my MK bag. I am going to see if I can get something done about it. That’s awesome that you have not been putting sugar in your coffee! I still have not had any coffee in almost 4 weeks.

  9. Ha! I hear you on the swimsuit struggle. We are hoping to go on a vacation this fall, and I want to hurry up and get something on the calendar so I will KNOW we’re going and maybe get a kick of motivation to get in better shape. Also, I am sooo with you on that time change and the light! Mornings are a little rougher, but I have definitely appreciated it more than I’ve cursed it 🙂

Joy hopefully you will get that trip planned for the Fall soon! Vacations are always motivation! I still have issues getting out of bed in the mornings with the time change. I just want to stay in bed. 🙂
