Ask Mistle

Happy Thursdays Y’all!! How has everyone’s week been so far? Mine has not been too bad but kind of long. I am so ready for this weekend! I have my friends bachelorette party Saturday and I can’t wait! Sometimes a little girl time is just what the doctor ordered after a long work week. Today’s post won’t be too long but I wanted to introduce a potential new series called Ask Mistle.

This series will be all about your questions to me that you’d liked answered. These questions can be anything about blogging, beauty, health, etc. I love reading these types of series on other bloggers blogs, so I thought it would be fun to do as well. Don’t forget to leave your questions in the comments below. I also have some questions for y’all (I’ll be answering them as well below).

Tell me about yourself:

  1. If you’re a blogger, what is your favorite thing(s) about blogging? If you’re not a blogger, what do you love about reading blogs?
  2. What are some of your favorite tv shows to watch (past or current)?
  3. What are five things you always carry in your purse?
  4. What are some of your guilty pleasures?
  5. If you could eat one thing for the rest of your, what would it be?

My response to the questions:

  • My favorite thing about blogging is getting to interact with my readers and build relationships with my fellow bloggers. Getting to know your readers is so important! I also feel that forming relationships with my fellow bloggers is key. The blogging community has been so good to me and I have met some amazing bloggers so far.
  • I have soooooo many tv shows that I love to watch. Some of my favorites are The Bold Type, HTGAWM, This Is Us, The Real Housewives (pretty much all of them), Fixer Upper, Southern Charm, OTH, Jane The Virgin….the list goes on (we’d be here awhile if I listed them all)
  • I always make sure I have chapstick (this girl can’t stand chapped lips), a hair brush, phone charger, phone and a pen in my purse.
  • My guilty pleasures would include buying makeup and skincare, massages, eating sushi and sheet masks.
  • If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be sushi. There are so many different rolls that you can eat so I don’t think it would be too hard. Close second would be crawfish.

Again thank you so much for your support and love!! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it!

If you’re a blogger, what is your favorite thing(s) about blogging? If you’re not a blogger, what do you love about reading blogs? I am a blogger over at http://www.lemonsandpearls.com. I love to write, and I love using my blog as a way to express my creative side, whether it’s writing, refinishing furniture, sewing or sharing a good book.

What are some of your favorite tv shows to watch (past or current)? Die hard Gilmore Girls fan here. I also love to watch M*A*S*H and Ghost Whisperer.

What are five things you always carry in your purse? Lip gloss (pink), chapstick (egg-shaped), my favorite pen, my second-favorite pen and gum (mint–never fruit).

What are some of your guilty pleasures? Coffee, Ice cream and really good chocolate.

If you could eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? Yikes! I love to eat and I love to try new foods, so this is a tough one. Maybe chips and guacamole? Has to be good guac though.

My grandmother was born and raised in Louisiana, and so I grew up eating crawfish etouffe and gumbo. I also have a rather unhealthy love for beignets. 🙂 My husband was stationed there for work last year for almost six months, so I got to make a couple of trips down and indulge my cajun cuisine cravings.

  25. I oversee a vape store submission site and we have had a posting from a vape shop in the USA that additionally advertises CBD items. A Month afterwards, PayPal has contacted use to claim that our account has been limited and have requested us to remove PayPal as a payment solution from our vape shop web directory. We do not offer for sale CBD items like CBD oil. We simply provide marketing services to CBD companies. I have visited Holland & Barrett– the UK’s Leading Health Retailer and if you take a close look, you will witness that they offer for sale a surprisingly substantial range of CBD items, specifically CBD oil and they also happen to accept PayPal as a payment method. It appears that PayPal is applying twos sets of rules to many different companies. As a result of this limitation, I can no longer accept PayPal on my CBD-related website. This has limited my payment choices and now, I am heavily dependent on Cryptocurrency payments and straightforward bank transfers. I have consulted with a solicitor from a Magic Circle law office in The city of london and they stated that what PayPal is doing is altogether illegal and discriminatory as it should be applying a systematic standard to all firms. I am still to consult with an additional lawyer from a US law office in The city of london to see what PayPal’s legal position is in the USA. For the time being, I would be very appreciative if anybody here at targetdomain could offer me with alternative payment processors/merchants that deal with CBD firms.
