A Pop of Color with a Dash of Floral

Happy Wednesday (or as everyone knows today as April’s Fools)!!!

Today is all about two of my favorite fashion trends right now. I absolutely love wearing bright colors and floral’s in the Spring and Summer time (and every other season as well). Wearing bright colors is something I’m known for wearing all the time. I’m definitely not one to shy away from bold colors (because I absolutely love incorporating color into my wardrobe).

When I was at Kohls last week shopping, I knew I had to have this top and skirt. I had not initially thought about pairing them together but as I was playing in my closet, trying to pair new outfits together, this pairing just made sense!

The top is silky and very light, making it perfect for the extremely hot days in the south. I really love the detail down the middle of the shirt. It makes the top even more girly and flirty.

I must say I absolutely love this skirt!!! It’s from Lauren Conrad’s line and it’s just the perfect amount of floral. If you haven’t been to Kohl’s, they have so many cute fashion pieces, especially in her line.

For my jewelry I received this House of Harlow 1960 cuff in my Rocks Box (review on that coming soon). I absolutely love this piece! It helped tie the outfit together without going to over board. My clutch is from Target.

I can’t wait to pair more outfits together, especially now that the weather is nice! Thank God for no rain (at least for now). Let us know what outfit pieces you are pairing together for the season in the comments below!
