Happy Tuesday!!! I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday. I spent time with family and friends, so I took a few days off from blogging. I’m back though! Today I’d like to share with you my blogging experience so far, as well as some updates coming soon. I can’t believe that I’ve been blogging for four months already (4 month anniversary was on the 3rd)!
First off let me say, I never would have thought I’d be here blogging now. I always loved reading/following other bloggers on instagram,etc, so it inspired me to start a blog. So when my co-blogger (Kacie), said hey let’s do this blogging thing,we ran with it. Now, Kacie is no longer co-blogging with me, as she has went a different route with blogging. I am very excited for her and so happy we started this blog together.
In this four months, I’ve learned that
- Having blog post ideas all the time, is not always easy (writers block stinks). This is why I started carrying my Erin Condren planner everywhere with me, in case I get inspired with ideas. Ideas have gotten easier to come up with as time has gone by.
- Posting consistently is key. I have made a goal to post at least 3 times a week
- Being apart of blogging communities is extremely helpful! I have recently joined some blogging communities and everyone has been amazing with supporting me, giving me advice on how to make the blog better and has answered my million questions that I have about blogging
- There are still a lot of things I do not know about blogging but I am learning everyday.
Now I know that there will be a ton more things that I learn as more time goes by and I am excited about my journey!
Now on to updates for the blog!
I am excited that the blog will be moving over to its own domain (coming very soon). Which means a much better blog! Now I need some help from my readers on deciding on a new theme for the blog. Which one do you like better? These are my top three themes that I love so far!
If you have any suggestions on what I should learn as a blogger,tips or anything please let me know. As I said there are a lot of things I do not know about blogging and I really want to become better at it.
