Here’s how I did in February:
Personal
-Continue to eat healthy. I will say that I did a lot better last month with making healthier food choices. I ate a lot of salads and protein filled meals.
-Workout 3 x’s a week. There may have been one week out of the month that I did not work out 3′ x’s but other than that I accomplished it!
-Start at least one book. I started Why Not Me by Mindy Kaling. So finally I am doing some reading again!
-Continue to save money. I was able to accomplish this as well. I spent less money that I typically do on clothes and makeup.
-Clean out my closet and get rid of clothes I do not wear anymore. I got rid of a huge bag of clothes just recently. I’m sure I could get rid of more things but at least this is a start.
Blog
-Write at least 1 week’s worth of post ahead of time. I will say I somewhat accomplished this. I started off February doing really well but then kind of got busy.
-Maintain my instagram followers. I did this and gained some followers. Thanks to all of you who follow me! I appreciate the love!
-Look into getting a Twitter account/learn more about using Twitter. I can’t say I completely accomplished this because I did not get a Twitter account yet. However I have been doing some research on it.
-Continue to connect with more bloggers. Considering that I just attended my first blog conference, I was able to accomplish this. I was able to connect with a lot of wonderful bloggers and the best thing about it was being able to find bloggers in my area.
-Have a link up ready to go by the end of the month. I somewhat accomplished this. it is currently still in the works but there has been progress made. I can not wait for the link up to start!
-Write a beauty post. I did not post a beauty post but I have taken some pictures of a review that I plan on having up very soon. I’m excited about it!
-Continue to increase my page views. I have consistently increased my page view in February. I am so excited about it. This blog would be nothing without all of you who read it and support me. I appreciate you all so very much!
Goals for this month:
Personal
– Start saving for my trip to Cancun.
-Continue to work out 3 x’s a week.
-Finish reading Why Not Me by Mindy Kaling
-Read one book
-Have at least two date nights
-Not let work life stress me out so much. It is just a job. Not going to lie, this is going to be hard to
do.
Blog
-Have the link up that is currently in the process completed by the end of this month
-Write a weeks worth of post ahead of time
-Update old blog posts
-Meet up with some local bloggers that I met at the Thrive Blog Conference
-Collaborate with more bloggers. If you’re interested in collaborating with me let me know! 🙂
-Potentially get a Twitter account. I’m thinking of just getting an account and going from there.
-Host a giveaway. Seeing that my 1 year blogiversary is tomorrow I really wanted to do a giveaway for it.
-Continue to improve my photography skills.
So there you have it! I hope that I am successful in accomplishing my goals for this month. What are some of your goals for this month?
Awesome goals! You rocked it last month! And happy blogiversary!
Thank You Cole! I was very happy that I was able to accomplish a good bit of my goals last month. I am hoping to do the same this month. 🙂
I’ve been trying to read more and plan out my posts!! It is tough to find the time. Keep it up 🙂
Liz it really is! It seems like there is always something I have to do and I don’t get to schedule out my posts, etc. I am trying though. 🙂
One Year! Hooray! That is awesome. You did great last month, and it looks like you’ve got some great stuff lined up this month too. Just jump in with Twitter. I don’t get too many referrals from it, but it’s super easy, and allows others to share your posts easily.
Thank You Shann!!! I am very excited! I am hoping to be able to accomplish a lot this month as well. I figure I will probably just jump into Twitter. I heard it varies for bloggers as far as the traffic they see from it.
Looks like you killed your goals last month! How exciting that your blogiversary is tomorrow…congrats!

Thank You Shannon! I am hoping to accomplish a lot this month as well. 🙂
Yay for one year! You did great last month and this month you can meet your goals as well. You’ve got momentum 🙂 I really need to work on re-doing old posts and scheduling a week ahead. Good Luck!
Thank You Tiffany! I can’t believe it’s already been a year! I hope I am able to do well with meeting my goals this month. Updating old posts really is a great thing to do but it really is time consuming. I am slowly but surely trying to update it.
Yay you on your Feb goals!
Here’s to an even better March for you.
xoxo, Jenny
Thank You Jenny! 🙂
Congratulations on completing so many of your goals! It is my goal to get my posts scheduled ever week in advance as well. Some weeks I do really well and others….well let’s just say there’s room for improvement.
Thank You Kalyn! I could also improve on getting posts done ahead of time. Most of the time on the weekends I have so much going on and during the work week, I seriously have no energy. Thank god this weekend is a low key weekend. So I am hoping to produce some posts ahead of time.
Great goals! Would love to chat sometime about linking up for a blog post!!
Thank You Stephanie! I would love to do a collab/link up for a post together. 🙂
LOVEEE your goals posts! I need to start doing this. Great job on all that you have accomplished & congrats one your 1 year blogversary!
Thank You Lindsey!!! I’ve been posting my goals for awhile not and I enjoy doing it. It makes me stay accountable and not making excuses. I hope I can accomplish a lot this month. 🙂
Dang you are CRUSHING your goals! I need to take note! And yes, more date nights are always needed, always! Congrats on eating right and working out consistently – no easy task!
Chrissa I am trying! I love date nights! I feel that it is extremely important for any relationship. Eating healthy and working out is not an easy task, but I am determined to get better. 🙂
Been loving all the March goals posts I’ve been reading so far. Best of luck with your march goals!
Thank You Jennifer! I love reading others goals. It give me more ideas on what I can do as well. 🙂
Good luck not letting work stress you out! That is the hardest thing for me to do. I’m on maternity leave right now and trying to figure out how I will balance having a baby and going back to work when I know that work causes me so much stress. I loved both of Mindy’s books. If you’re looking for something else really good, look at Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. I loved that book and had trouble putting it down.
Meghan I try so hard not to let it stress me out and just say it’s only a job, but as you said it’s so hard to do! I do not have any kids but I can just imagine how stressed out you are. I know a lot of my friends hated having to come back to work after being on maternity leave. It’s taking me a little while to get into Why Not Me but I think once I have more time to sit down and actually read, I will enjoy it more. I also have her other book. I have not read Big Little Lies but it is on my kindle to read soon! I loved the Husbands Secret. If you haven’t read it you should. 🙂
Happy blogiversary! You’re knocking it out of the park on your goals, keep it up! It’s so great that you write them down. It gives you focus and gets you motivated to actually get things done. 🙂
Thank You Samantha!!! It does help keep me motivated to get things done when I write my goals down.
Congrats on your goals! What are you doing for working out? I just got back into working out and am aiming for at least 4 times a week. Looking forward to your beauty post (maybe this month??!).
Thank You Lindsay! I have been doing a lot of cardio right now. I do Dance Fitness With Jessica. I love her workouts. I also do go to the gym and lift weights, etc. Nothing overly exciting really. I also love Tone It Up & Doing barre exercises. I am trying to tone down and lose weight before summer comes along. I am looking to have a beauty post up very soon! I am hoping the weather is good this week, so I can finish up my photos in natural light and get them ready to post. 🙂
Congrats on the blog anniversary! The first year is all about figuring out where you want to go with it and building a community. I would love to work together anytime. Email me if you are interested.
Thank You Mayra!!! My first year was all about learning. I am still learning because I am far from perfect when it comes to blogging. I fill it’s always a good thing to continue to learn. The blogging world is always changing but staying true to yourself is most important. I love the blogging community. It’s amazing. I would love to work with you as well! I’ll be emailing you soon. 🙂
Look at you go! How was your blogging conference? Did you learn a ton? I’m glad you got to meet other bloggers in the area; that is so great! And I totally support you getting a Twitter; even if you don’t use it, at least you have your name/handle taken and if anyone shares your content there, they can tag you!
My blogging conference was amazing Chelsie!! I had such a great time! I practiced my elevator speech thanks to your tips! I am actually meeting up with some of the local bloggers later this month for brunch. I will be up on Twitter very soon. 🙂
I’ve read a few goal lists this month and am becoming convinced I should start one of my own to keep myself accountable. Thanks for the inspiration.

Great goals! And, Cancun sounds wonderful! How do you collaborate with other bloggers? I’m in Austin over at blogbytracy.com. Would love to know what that entails, I may be interested! Love your blog!
Thank You Tracy! Cancun is absolutely beautiful. I went last year and loved it! I did not want to come back home. For my collaborations I am looking for anything as far as guest posts, link ups, or get to know the bloggers. If you’re interested let me know! 🙂
I loooove these posts! You are doing so awesome girl!
Thank You Neely! I hope to accomplish a lot this month as well. 🙂
Good job with your goals last month and good luck this month! I definitely recommend Twitter. I don’t use it all the time, but I enjoy it when I do and it’s a great way to meet other bloggers with blogger chats and stuff like that. Let me know if you start an account. I’ll follow you. 🙂
Thank You Crystal!! I have heard that Twitter is so beneficial to have. I am so behind on that! Lol. I will be looking to create an account very soon. I will let you know once I create an account. 🙂
Awesome job this month! What type of link-up will you be starting? Have a great weekend!
Thank You Cara! I will be starting a reading link up but I also want to do some other one’s as well. I’m thinking like a favorites link up or something along those lines. I hope you have a great weekend as well! 🙂

Thank You Amanda. I really like being able to write out my goals and share them. It’s also great being able to see what others are looking to accomplish. Saving money is something I really want to get a handle on this year. I feel that it’s important to have some type of savings, when needed.

Thank You Wendy! I am hoping to accomplish a lot this month as well.
I am with you on Twitter. I need to get an account but can barely keep up with the other platforms. 🙂 So jealous you got to go to a blog conference.
Carolyn I only use instagram and pinterest (which some people do not consider as a social media platform). So I am thinking about branching out and getting a Twitter. I had such a blast at the blogging conference. If you ever get to attend one, you should.
Incredible goals!! Mine are quite similar!! I need to clean out my closet, workout and I would love to join a link party if I could!! xo
Thank You Ruthie! You should join a link up party! They are a lot of fun!
This makes me want to start tracking my goals! I love that you’re so open with everything
Marci, I love writing my goals out. It helps keep me accountable. You should def try to track your goals. You’ll feel great when you scratch something off your list because you accomplished it.
You did so well last month! I need to start these lists to hold myself accountable.
Chelsea I hope to accomplish a lot this month as well! I write my goals out just so that I can keep myself accountable.
These are some great goals! I love posts that talk about goals. I have a weekly in-depth series that discusses my goals just like yours! Its just so awesome to read others doing the same thing.
Thank You Trisha!!! I love reading others posts about goals as well. It inspires me even more and think of goals that I may not have thought about. 🙂
I love your goals! Yes get a Twitter! It’s my second favorite social media account (second to Instagram). It’s a great way to get your posts out there and interact with others! Good luck girl!
