Happy Thursday Y’all! I still can’t believe that May is half way over. I don’t know about everyone else but I love reading other’s currently posts. Here’s mine for this month.
Exercising: I have been attending Barre classes at least 2 x’s a week. Let me tell you it is kick my butt. Of course in a good way. Now I will be going to the gym on the days I do not attend Barre classes.
Eating:ย Oatmeal. Also trying to eat a little more healthier.
Drinking: Water though I’d much rather be chugging some coffee or anything with caffeine in it.
Listening: To Meghan Trainor “Thank You”. I really like this album so far. I feel it’s a little more of a dance album than her last one.
Loving: That the weekend is almost here. I am ready for a little bit of fun and relaxing.
Wearing: All black today. I find this has been a trend lately for when I am dressing for work. Hmmm….
Creating: Some future blog posts. I really am trying to work on writing posts ahead of time.
Watching: More like binge watching Quantico and Empire lately. I am so behind on shows that I loveย to watch.
Reading: Leave Your Mark by Aliza Licht. I’ve been reading this for a while now. I really like this book and am learning a lot from it. Now if only I had more time to sit down and read.
What are some things that are currently going on in your life?
Sounds like you are being super productive! I am in all black today as well haha but I usually wear black every day…I need to work on that ha. Good for you for going to Barre classes – that is amazing! Can’t wait to see the articles you are working on ๐
Chandler I am attempting to be productive. I have no issues with wearing black all the time. I am really enjoying my barre classes. ๐
I’m definitely trying to get ahead in blog posts too and I have been also trying to workout more! I’d love to hear more about how you’re liking the Barre classes!

I am loving it is almost the weekend too! I want to try a Barre class. Need to get up the courage to go. Any tips for getting started? Just starting to blog again and know I need to push to write posts ahead of time to stay consistent. Have a great month!
Jamie I love my barre classes. They are far from easy and such a great work out. I will say that if you do decide to take some classes to always listen to your body. If you are not able to do something it’s okay to modify it. I have to modify some things because of injuries. Let me know if you try a class out! Writing blog posts ahead of time would be such a great thing to do for me but I always get side tracked.
Im looking forward to getting back into swimming again! Lord knows I missed swimming!
Nazrin I do not really swim that much as far as doing it for exercise. I know it’s a great work out though.
Have you seen the Empire finale yet? So good. I think after the winter break it got back to the stuff that made it such a hit the first season.
Dia I just watched the finale. I think they did that to keep the viewers coming back. I will admit this season was not as good as last but towards the end it got better. Hopefully they will realize that and make it better for the next season.

Chelsea barre classes are a lot of fun. The one’s I attend are intense but a great work out. I love Meghan Trainor as well.
I eat oatmeal every single morning. Love it!
Neely I typically eat oatmeal for breakfast every morning as well with the exception of the weekends.
Nice job with the Barre class and drinking more water. That’s what I’m drinking all the time now, and I’ve found getting sparkling water helps break the boredom.
Shann I am loving my barre classes. I can not drink sparkling water for some reason. It tastes so nasty to me. So I give you props for drinking it. ๐

I love Empire, too. I actually enjoy the music more than the story line. I just love a good beat ๐ Speaking of, I just purchased Meghan’s CD but have yet to pop it in. I’ll be doing that this afternoon.
Stephanie I think that the first season was a little better but towards the end of this season it got really good again. I love the music too. I hope you enjoy Meghan’s new cd. ๐
Nice job on the exercising. I need to start a good book. It seems like I am always online but I need a good escape.

I loved it when I took Barre classes, totally kicked my butt, but felt great after! I totally am the same with chugging coffee rather than water! I love Quantico and Empire!!
Nikki I know!! I’ve taken about 8 barre classes now and it never gets easier. Which I love because it challenges me. I’m sure I will have some nice glutes soon. Lol. Did you watch the season finales for both Quantico and Empire? Crazy!!!
I’ve been really pushing to get my blog que filled to make blogging easier too! You had a productive month, and way to go on choosing water over coffee. I wish I could say I am doing the same.
Michelle I really am trying to get my blog posts done ahead of time. I have not quite been successful recently but I am getting better at it. I def needed coffee last week but I tried to be good with water.

What a fun post! I eat oatmeal just about every day and love to add fruit and honey to mine. I’ve start my list making again this month so I can be more organized and get some things done! Getting back to my workouts is on the agenda starting Monday! Yay!

I haven’t taken a barre class yet, but one of my trainers is certified and incorporates moves into her online personal training sessions and clients have been loving that. Maybe it’s time I give it a shot ๐ Where do you go for your classes? I AM a big daily oatmeal fan. I’ve been having it in some easy to make pancakes you can find on my blog, if you search “healthy pancakes.” Would love to hear what you think if you try them out!
Catherine barre classes are a lot of fun! It’s a great workout. I take classes at The Workout Barre. I typically eat oatmeal M-F for breakfast. I will def have to check out your recipe!!
