Happy Hump Day!!! It may be Wednesday but it has honestly felt like the longest week ever. I am still not used to this time change. It has thrown me into all different directions. Hopefully I’ll eventually get used to it. I hope that everyone is having a good week so far. Here are my confessions for this week.
I confess that I am somewhat of a skin care snob. I just purchased a lot of First Aid Beauty products. I probably honestly don’t need more skin care products….but then again I did say I was a skin care snob.
I confess that I have been an emotional roller coaster since Friday of last week. I lost my childhood best friend that day. She had an aneurysm and was on life support.
I confess that in addiction to being an emotional roller coaster I have had a very heavy heart filled with regret. Regret that years have went by since she and I have seen or spoken to each other. Unfortunately life got in the way.
I confess that I am ready for some time off. I am looking very forward to next week!
I confess that I am hoping to get some Christmas shopping done with my aunt and grandmother this weekend.
I confess that I value my friendships more than ever now (not that I didn’t before).
I confess that I really am tired of talking to people all day long for my job. It’s exhausting.
I confess that I have been slacking on working out recently. I plan on getting back into my routine this week.
I confess that I would love to have a whole week where I do absolutely nothing but relax.
I confess that I have been binge watching Gilmore Girls like crazy to be prepared for the reunion. I posted a gift guide for GG fans here.
That’s all the confessions that I have for today! What are you confessing? Hope you have a great day!
Great confessions. I confess that I haven’t been getting things done around the house like I should, been doing to many me things. Time to get up and get going.
Thank You Candy. I have neglected doing things around my house as well. Hopefully we will both get going soon.
I love this post format. I’m so sorry for your loss, your so brave and candid, life can be so cruel. Take time off relax and heal. Take care of yourself.
Thank You Kate. I am slowly healing which will come in time.
Aww, Mistle, I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend! It can be so saddening how easy it is to lose touch with people sometimes. On one hand, it’s not possible to be everyone’s closest friend all of the time. But on the other, if we have invested some of our life into friendships then it is so valuable to hold them dear. I’ve been struggling with that balance recently. I’ll be praying for you, sweet friend!
Thank You Shaylynn. I appreciate your sweet words. I agree that it is not possible being everyone’s closest friend all the time. I feel that as I’ve gotten older it’s harder to maintain friendships. Life truly does get busy and get in the way at times. This has been a reminder to make time for your loved ones.
I’m so sorry for your loss! Try to focus on the good times and the memories you have with her instead of focusing on all of the time you weren’t able to spend together. Things happen and I’m sure she understood, and still valued you as a friend regardless. I know it hurts though, and sending hugs your way!
Thank You Cara! I have been trying to focus on the good times that we had together. We made a lot of great memories together. Her mom let me know how much she loved me, so that was really nice to hear. Appreciate the sweet words!
I’m sorry for your loss! I confess that I’m super nervous to start looking at houses today. I don’t want to make a bad choice.
Thank You Christine. Looking at houses can be a little nerve wrecking. I’m sure you will make the right choice!
Girl we are on the same page! I’ve been binging GG too getting ready for next week!!! WAHOO! And I think this emotional rollercoaster is all because of the super moon lol

Rachel I hope I can get caught up on watching GG. The moon may have contributed to me being an emotional roller coaster but losing my friend has been really hard.
Hooray for a short week next week and time off. SO excited for Thanksgiving and Black Friday too!
Rachel I am looking forward to having some time off. It’s going to be much needed.
Love this post and I have also been slacking a little on working out as well.
Thank You Kiara. I am getting back into working out tonight. I need it!
