Cheers to it being Wednesday and only five days till Christmas! I honestly feel like December has flown by and has been a little bit of a blur. I have not had much down time this month. Of course that is to be expected with the holidays being here. As much as I love the holidays, it’s always nice when they are over (though I will miss all the pretty decorations). With that being said here are my confessions for this week.
I confess that Friday-Sunday last week I did nothing but run around like a nut getting last minute Christmas things done.
I confess that the weekend still has me exhausted. I went to bed before 9 last night. I’m still exhausted.
I confess that I went to Ulta and got my eye brows done. The girl who did my brows did an amazing job.
I confess that I went to Ulta twice last week and spent way too much money. Those darn 20% off coupons they send out for being a platinum member are going to get me in trouble. I still have two to use.
I confess that I cooked my first ham last week. Yep I’ve never cooked a ham before. I glazed it with honey and cinnamon and it came out so good.
I confess that I only have to purchase a few gift cards for Christmas and then I am done with my shopping. Thank God!
I confess that I wanted to have more holiday content on the blog but time did not permit. I will have my stuff planned way more ahead of time next year.
I confess that I have become obsessed with Benefit’s ka-Brow Cream Eyebrow Gel. It is so easy to apply and blends out beautifully on the brows.
I confess that I have been a little with drawn lately when it comes to being social. I’m okay with that though.
I confess that I can’t believe my sweet boudin (my dog) is going to be six tomorrow. He’s still a puppy at heart.
I confess that I am evaluating different investments I want to make for the blog in the future. A reader survey will be coming soon!

I finished my Christmas shopping Monday! It feels so nice to be done with it! I have never gotten my brows done at Ulta, I am there enough though!
Girl I am so jealous that you finished your shopping early! Next year I will def be planning more ahead of time as far as not buying last minute gifts. I highly recommend getting your brows done at Ulta! I have my next appointment already booked for next month.
Girl, I have been pathetically exhausted from the weekend too. We spend the weekend with my best friends and their significant others and while it was amazing, I didn’t sleep much. I went to bed at 9 on Monday night and 9:15 last night. I finally feel a little more like myself.
Kristin the holidays are such a fun time but so draining. I am still catching up on sleep. Anytime I can go to bed early, I am all for it.
Right about Ulta? Benefit brow bar? They are amazing! Thats where I go!
Neely that was the first time I had gotten my brows done there. Loved it!!! I already have my next appointment scheduled!
Treat yourself! I bought some things for myself during my holiday shopping as well. I am thinking about blog investments as well. Hopefully the new year brings growth for both of us!
Marette I did treat myself….maybe a little too much. I still have all my Christmas presents bought for everyone, so I guess it’s okay. 🙂 I hope that next year brings growth for us both!! I can’t wait to see what we have in store.
We had the same issue at my job with too much content for the time allotted. I ended up scheduling 2-3 Christmas videos per day in order to make everything fit.
Katie I am happy to say that work has calmed down a bit. It’s so stressful when there are so many things to get done when you don’t have a large time frame to complete it.

Happy Birthday to your Pup! I completely understand about being amazed that your dog is turning six. My Callie girl is seven, but it seems like just yesterday that she was just a tiny puppy. Where does the time go?!

I went to Ulta too. I bought new eyeliner and a back up of a new favorite color of Maybelline Lipstick. They change the colors so often that I wanted a 2nd one.
