Hey Y’all!!! I apologize for being MIA recently but this girl has been crazy busy lately. I feel like these last few weeks, I have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off (literally). Though I’ve been busy I have had a lot of fun and I’ve accomplished some things in the midst of the chaos. Here’s what I’ve been up to lately.
Happenings
+I celebrated my best friends little girls third birthday. They had a water slide fun jump which was a blast!! All of us grown ups were acting like kids. However, the bad side of the fun, I believe I am getting sick from the water that got in my ear. Hopefully I can kick it soon.
+My fiancée and I made our appointment to do cake tasting next week! I’m extremely excited but also a little nervous because I am going to be so picky. Lol. I guess this is a good thing though!
+My family and I celebrated my sisters 26th birthday. We went out to lunch and then a little bit of shopping which was fun but so exhausting. I got blisters on my feet from all the walking around.
+I have had a ton of positions open up for my job that I oversee as far as getting people to fill them. Right now I have 50 positions I have to fill currently. Let’s just say work has been crazy busy. I am hoping we start slowing down just a little bit.
+I scheduled an appointment to get Lash extensions. I’m really excited about this because one of my friends, friend got them done and her’s look amazing. Would y’all like to see before and after photos once I get them done?
+I have my wedding dress shopping appointment made!!! Y’all it’s getting even more real (though I am not getting married until October 2018)! The bridal shop has one of the designers that I have been eyeing as far as the style dresses I want. So hopefully I will find my dream dress during this appointment. Would y’all like to know about my wedding dress shopping experience.

Aw have so much fun cake testing! It’s funny because I’m like the opposite. I didn’t even want a cake. I wanted a donut wall but everyone told me I had to get cake. lol.
Thank You Chelsea! Hey I’d be down for a donut wall as well!! I attended a wedding in France and instead of a cake they had macarons. I thought that was amazing.

Megan I’ve been thinking about getting them done for awhile now, so I finally decided to get them done. If I hate it then I don’t have to do it again. I’ve seen good results from people who do eyelash tinging. I hope the cake tasting goes well too!

What an exciting time! We liked so many of the wedding cake flavors we tried that we ended up doing a small cake with LOTS of cupcakes in many flavors. I was happy with that choice.
Nicole I am very excited to see what flavors they have for us to try out next week. That’s a pretty awesome idea on what you did! I had a friend do different flavors for each tier of the cake.
